Bathroom vent was extremely dusty
I was there for a race, stayed on the 7th floor, north tower. When leaving, the elevator would only go down to the 6th and have problems so we would walk from the 6th floor down, EVERY TIME!!! We were there for 2 nights...... The last day it still stopped at the 6th floor, and then actually went down, thank God, with the luggage we had. The back door to the north tower had problems closing, and we would pull it shut. We tried to call the front desk, and it would just ring and ring. We called using our cell phones, went right through. The operator was an absolute sweetie, and she said that I was the 2nd person to say this, and she was very apologetic. There wasn't a do not disturb sign in our room (stupid, but still....). A pen in the room would have been nice too. The housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. The additional $15 a night was not expected, and I feel that they owed us that back for the inconvenience. In checking out, I reiterated the problems we had during our stay, and the woman just said, well you have a nice day....... This hotel is not a good representation of Radisson..... I am disappointed.
Parking was easy Very very very close to the Disney parks
Tricked people into attending time share presentation, They call you and give you a "WELCOME PACKAGE " it's just a time share Ants in the rooms all over the hotel, we told the night manager all he could do is say its not my fault complain in the morning Trash can at the north tower is all ways over flowing Tub didn't work had paper in the drain Cleaning people left dirty Soda can in our room from previous guests
Unfriendly staff, filthy, and noisy!!!
Pictures on Kayak prior to booking are very misleading/embelished. The hotel lobby look NOTHING like the pictures lead us to believe. NOTHING.
The rooms were clean.
The front desk service was very poor. Some of them were rude, some of them were not knowledgable, some just didn't care what was told to them. They're not on the same page when one person tells you something the other has no clue what's going on. I booked two rooms...we had to wait for them to find it even though we had the confirmation number. We were told that can't be the confirmation number because "nope, uh uh, ours is only 6 numbers." Then they found it once I should them the email sent. Then we had to wait for them to put it in their system. Then they only put 1 room in their system. So then we had to wait for them to enter the second room. There's only one pool and one hot tub. There were 15 young teens or more sitting in the hot tub so no one else could go in it. Upon checking out the guy at the front desk tried to charge us $15 more for parking! First off that was included in our package we paid, second we made sure of that when we booked and when we had to wait for it to be put in the system twice. The front desk did not want to admit that we were told that until I became upset and then they were able to waive it. Overall this hotel was not worth the money or the hassel. The rooms are also really small and the tub was nice, but it did not work.
Overall thought that it was reasonably priced for Orlando area. But as with all things in life, you don't get a great room for that low price.
In the future would recommend paying more and avoiding this place if you're a business traveler. (1) Noise: The tile hallways and tile in the room caused it to be pretty noisy and late evening/early morning can hear everything - terrible night's sleep! (2) Safety: Didn't feel very secure. The back door in the hotel doesn't close all the way and I noticed it ajar when walking in at night. The lock on my room was bent and not functional. The parking lot was plastered with these disclaimer signs about the management not being responsible for your vehicle. As a female, didn't feel very comfortable. (3) Building: the entire hotel just feels dated and badly in need of updating. The bathroom in the room was especially 90s with need of new tub and grouting. In general I've had good experiences with Radisson brand but felt this was pretty sub par and regretted booking this room, should have paid more and gone someplace else or have looked at the reviews more closely.
First, do not book the one king bed room. These rooms do not have thermostats. To change the temperature you must call the front desk and that is a joke in itself. Once I found out the room didnt have a thermostat I requested a room change. After 3 room changes and 2.5 hours I was given a double queen room and could finally control my rooms temperature. Second, while I was downstairs at the front desk a woman was complaining she had roaches in her room. Although I did not see any, I do not doubt the potential. All and all, for the money (around $70/night, keep in mind there is a additional $15/night resort fee) its not bad considering its proximity to Disney World.
Clean rooms, looked as advertised and had a well maintained property
When I arrived and was given a room we entered to find someone already in there. Now I had to go through the inconvenience of going all the way back down with luggage and tote to a whole new wing of the hotel, in addition to the embarrassment of walking into someones room. In addition kayak organized results including fees (total stay) but still got his with $50 in resort fees that were not advertised. I felt ripped off.
The cleanliness of the hotel. Loved that the pool was open 24 hours.
Poor water pressure and no Hot water, had to call the front who then didn't send anyone from maintenance until I made a second call an hour later. Maintenance then told me I have to turn the sink water on to hot and then turn the shower hot water on and wait 20 mins?!?!? For it to get hot. This did get the water warm enough to shower but not hot by any means! Also the was just rude, except for the check in staff those lady were very nice.
There seven days and never a night of hot water, elevators are a death trap, AC vents leaking water all over the building, ants in my room. Tried to get a extra hour or so on check out day and was told I would have to pay $50 for three extra hours. PSA watch your bill got a check out slip under the door that was double what we were to be charged then had receptionist tell us it was a mistake, how when resort fee is $15 a day and on one day we were billed $96 and most other days $35. I could go on but at this point I thinks this pretty much sums it up.
It was located near food places. The cleaning crew was amazing. They were the best thing about the Park Inn by Radisson hotel. They managed to organize every bit of shoes, brush accessories and ect. it really help with our stay.
I liked NOTHING about this hotel. A group of friends and me drove all the way from Texas. It took us 14 plus hours. Before we left Texas, I called the front desk and confirmed, our room, our beds and noted to them that we would be arriving around 4am in the morning the next day. I thought everything was set. We get to the hotel around 6:00am, I walk to the front desk and there's a guy there. He was a heavyset white Caucasian guy with glasses. This man was SO RUDE! Can you imagine being exhausted from a 14 hour ride and having to argue with someone? That is the worst feeling while on vacation. He told me that I missed my check in time and that I’m lucky there were spots available. I could not believe what I was hearing at that moment. No one has time to argue after sitting in a car for 14 hours. I kindly told him that I called and spoke to the lady who was there during the day (apparently there's more than one, but I spoke to the same lady three times). Finally he checked for my name and checked me in. My friend and I get to our room (which is in another building) and our keys do not work! The last thing I wanted to do was deal with the nasty rude man. We had to drive all the way back to the main building to get our new cards. God knows I did not want to deal with the angry man. He told me how to swipe the card and I told him that was what I did. AS much as I wanted to say “trust me this is NOT my first time at a hotel and I’m glad I’ve had better experiences” I didn’t (because I was tired). I'm sure their machine was the cause on why my key didn’t work, because he swiped it a few times the first time. We stayed there for 3 nights. On our last two nights, we came home and realized our toilet wasn't working. No one gave us a notice or anything. We tried to call and our room phone wasn't working. My friend also mentioned that our water wasn't hot. It was unbelievable!!!! My friend manages a building and she told me, the Park Inn did not keep up with their maintenance, the pipes were rusty (we saw this first hand) and it could have been prevented if the maintained it properly. We ended up calling from our cell phones and complaining. They told us the water pipes busted and that they were taking care of the issue, which was never resolved. Why couldn’t they leave signs on the doors of the guest to inform them about the building problem? It’s obvious that communications a BIG issue with the Park Inn. The next morning everything started working again. But on our last day of check out, the toilet stopped working again!!! I couldn't believe it. Not to mention the lobby was full of water the entire time we were there and they didn't have cautions signs placed on the floor. Water was everywhere. They had plastic drapes hanging from the celling to cover what was going on, on the other side (as if it weren’t obvious enough). The place was filthy over all. We had a tentative schedule, so we didn’t have time to get our money back for our stay and swit
I liked how clean it was and how it had something for everyone to do
location was good, housekeeping staff is friendly
no microwave in room, a/c is loud, elevators take long, the hall ways smell/old carpet, food prices, pool area too small for size of hotel, needs many renovations
The location was excellent and the rooms were very clean.
The staff was incredibly rude upon check-in and got upset when they had to replace our room keys THREE times because they wouldn't work.
Would like a canvas over the walk way coming in around the side that takes you to the top floors, especially when it is raining. Thank you.
Fair price for fair service.
