Proximity to our destination. Mr Bhagat was an excellent host.
There was really nothing to complain about. We wanted to find a place within walking distance of Neyland Stadium. After going onto your site, I was surprised to find anything quite so close (appx 1.5 mi). Especially with 100,000 people descending on Knoxville for the Vanderbilt/ut game. Sorry, ut. The accomodations were exactly what we needed. The owner, Mr Bhagat, was very friendly and helpful.
It was located fairly close to our concert location.
It was in poor repair and FILTHY!Don't even think about staying there. Ever. For any reason. Period.
It was a 5 minute drive from Market Square
Did not like that it made it seem like walking distance to Neyland Stadium. There is actually a river separating the hotel and downtown. Did not seem like a safe part of town. Questionable staff.Had a two night stay. Kept all of our belongings in our car during the day when we parked downtown. Will spring for the extra $30-$40 a night for a 2-3 star hotel. Not sure the 'essence' of this motel is anything more than a roof over your head and locked door. My friend about crapped her pants when we pulled up to this place and saw the hotel staff and then took a video of our room for our friends to see the scene of our very own Dateline NBC edition.
