I love Poipu and Koloa, in Kauai- this location is the BEST! The rooms were super nice and clean and huge. Amazing experience overall.
The view from our room was a tree line. I didn't pay extra for view- so I had no problem with this. I'd just advise others to pay/ request a view to maximize their enjoyment.
The staff was very friend and helpful! We loved our room, we had so much space and it was very nice and clean. Great experience!
The only downside was the construction. We weren't around during most of the day to really be impacted by it too much, though.
The room was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped with a full kitchen with all the appliances and a washer/dryer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The public spaces are under construction.
Could have been more honest about construction.
Everything about the hotel was amazing.
I like everything about it.
The resort is well maintained and the villa is spacious and well equipped. There is plenty of room and lobby and bar area are a nice plce to sit and relax if you don't feel like heading out for an adventure. Hotel staff were friendly. We would stay again.
The rooms were very good and clean. Location is convenient to the South Shore. Two nearby beaches, walkable.
The only downside, we got a room that had ocean view but noisy /dusty construction going on all day (Avoid Building 9). We could hardly open the balcony door, without inhaling construction dust. Loud noises despite keeping the balcony door closed.
location is great. my room had (for now until they build) an ocean view
The condos are amazing, and very high end.
The beach is a long stroll from the condo, but still very close
My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic stay. We were upgraded to a larger unit and the staff was great and very friendly. The woman working the desk each morning was always providing helpful hints on things to do and places to see depending on what we were doing each day. The unit was very clean and comfortable.
Very nice rooms.
The hotel itself is great. However, I prefer to stay on the other side of the island.
The rooms were great. Lots of space for 2 families in the 3 bed. Comfy beds and good choice of cooking supplies. Nice selection of activities. Putting green was fun, volleyball area. Great bbq area as well and did not have to wait for them.
It was all good. Will be very nice when it is all done. If you want beach access you may be a bit disappointed.
Just got back staying at the Koloa Landing in S. Kauai. This complex is under construction, which will last for several more years. Our view was not very good out our back Lanai, but we could see the ocean. We actually didn't mind because we felt we got a tremendous deal for the money. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit, with full kitchen, living room, lanai, etc. This unit was brand new, and luxurious. Meant to be sold in the long term, this unit is for rent and really became our home away from home during our vacation. All top end appliances, marble floors, fantastic bathrooms, and washer and dryer. If you are looking for a great value, this is the place to stay.
Everything about this Resort was perfect!!! Everything is brand new and clean. The views are gorgeous and so is the interior design. Very upscale. I went there on my honeymoon and we were immediately upgraded to a larger room. This room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one being a master bath. Their was even a laundry room. The kitchen was gorgeous , everything just seemed very well put together. I am really looking forward to my next visit.
