The Moon Hostel has a very central location in Krakow in exceptionally green neighbourhood between the Main Square and Wawel Hill, two sites not to be missed. Krakow is the spiritual and cultural capital of Poland, the former royal residence and therefore has a rich historic and romantic background. Tradition intertwines here with modern times in its architecture. The Wawel Hill is home to the Cathedral, the coronation place of Polish kings whose tombs are located in the underground catacombs. There are also plenty of bars, nightlife, great international and traditional restaurants and markets to be explored in this fascinating city. The Moon Hostel is open all year long and offers simple, no-frills private singles, twins, triples and quadruples. All the rooms have shared bathrooms (there is one for every two or three rooms) a TV set and a kettle, not to mention wireless internet service. There is even room service for longer stays. The hostel has a reception desk open 24 hours a day, fully equipped kitchens for all the guests, a laundry room, luggage storage and even an off license shop in the same building. Other services include free tea and coffee, free access to the internet, movies, DVD's, mini football, board games at the guests disposal. Breakfast (as well as dinner) is available but is not included in the price of the room. There is the possibility of renting a bike or a car and there is also parking for those coming by car. No frills hostel close to the centre of Krakow!
