I liked the location of the hotel, pretty near to all important points in the San Diego area. Nothing else...
There were quite a few things I didn't like about this hotel and I surely don't recommend it to anyone: 1) I booked a 2 queen beds room; however we got a room with only one bed and they added a roller bad; so I paid around 20$ more to get a 2 beds room and they still gave me the smaller one; the explanation from the hotel staff was that 'they were fully booked but it was too late to change anything' ......... 2) I booked a non-smoking room; guess what ... we got a smoking room with a terrible smell every time we entered the room 3) the breakfast was very poor indeed; one morning there were only a few muffins and coffee; the other morning was better but comparing to other similar places at similar rates, this was very poor. 4) for the room problems I tried to talk to the manager; but every time I asked for him I wasn't able to get hold of him; in the morning the hotel staff told me to get back in the evening, in the evening I was asked to get back in the morning; I went to visit San Diego and didn't have the time to spend all day for this. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Even though our registration was not in their computer(see below), the receptionist was very accommodating and found us a room for all three nights that suited our needs well. Room was clean..except for...see below
Our online reservation did not show up on the motel's computer. I awoke each day with more bug bites than the day before. Didn't think too much about it until my daughter overheard another patron complaining about the same thing. .
