Reserved a convertible weeks in advance that showed on the website was available. It wasn’t!Cons:
If it isn’t available, the Corp website shouldn’t allow you to reserve one! I wasn’t notified it wouldn’t be available. Not at booking, not a week before booking, not the day before booking. a specialty vehicle order should be a flag that budget should validate and confirm availability when booking or within a day or two. It totally messed up my plans, cuz I called one day in advance just to confirm and assure, and to my surprise, they said No, none on the lot and none will be on the lot. Budget, you have a corporate issue here, that you need to address! You simply can’t say it’s available when the local office tells me no way it’s gonna be there. How can Corp office say one is available to rent? False advertising. I would have been livid had I traveled there only to find the promised reservation not possible to be filled, with budget knowing this well in advance but doing NOTHING about it.2.0 Poor

Cons:
Budget had no cars available!! They had one 12 person manual transmission passenger van! Not one car! When I asked why they booked my rental when they had no cars, Aaron-desk clerk, said they do this all the time. I had to take a$111 Lyft in order to make my flight in Chicago! Extremely unprofessionalAlamo

After arranging for the rental several days in advance and prepaying, I arrived to pick up my rental only to find that they did not have a car available for me. Instead I was offered my pick of dirty vehicles that had not been cleaned or refilled. Ended up going to Hertz and spending more money to rent a car spur of the moment but at least they had cars.10.0 Wonderful

They wouldn't except your offer told us we would have get our money back from you. They would not except my wife debit card. They said our card was not accepted by our transaction on line with you guys. BUT MONEY was taken out of my wife account. So we would appreciate you to kindly pay back our money and investigate this company.Cons:
Our money back that was transacted on line. This place needs to be put off your place to do business with. We had to wait an hour and half because they said there was not a car on their grounds for rental. We should also be compensated for the time they made us late on leaving.6.0 Okay

The price of the deal was excellent. The vehicles were clear and appeared to be in very good condition. Our destination had a Hertz and those folks were fantastic. They resolved the issue of vehicles.Cons:
The Valparaiso Hertz location was unable to give us the vehicle type (SUV) as we had requested because the license plate was expired! They offered us to drive an hour in the opposite direction to get a vehicle we wanted. Instead they gave us a sedan (which was in itself a nice sedan) but it was clearly not what I paid for. I did not get a discount or a refund because I prepaid. Then we had to wait outside of the facilities while the attendant when and fueled the vehicle! It does not reflect well on Hertz!8.4 Very good
