Disney’s Pop Century Resort offers the chance to step back in time and enjoy all the best trends of the decades of the late 20th century, from the 1950s through the 1990s and beyond. This resort is designed to pay homage to the timeless styles, dances, catchphrases, and toys that captivated the hearts of everyone during these eras. The resort is located near the Skyliner, providing gondola rides to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It also features a 1960’s themed Hippy Dippy Pool, complete with flower-shaped jets and fountains.
Guests at Pop century can enjoy a variety of dining choices inspired by the same decades at the Everything POP Shop, which features a variety of quick-service food stations and on-the-go options. Drinks can be enjoyed at Petals Pool Bar, and late night pizza is always available courtesy of Disney Resorts Pizza Delivery. There is a playground located in the ‘70s area of the resort, as well as a jogging trail that spans the resort.
Two other pools are available at this resort, including a bowling-themed 1950s pool that is actually shaped like a bowling pin and a ‘90s-themed pool designed with tech in mind (that one is shaped like a floppy disc and keyboard). The fun, funky accommodations and attractions at Pop Century set it apart from the rest of the Disney resorts, offering a little more grown up fun for the older kids and adults in the family. Plus, every stay at the resort comes with the traditional, high-quality Disney service and support that people expect.
