very clean and very nice employees
trouble with 2 of our door keys each time we would try to use them
The fact that billboard on parkway said FREE breakfast, and they didn't have it
The room was large and the pool was also big.
This hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast.
Great nights sleep in comfort great bedding and very quiet nights stay
Little hard to get to with construction going on the roads. No free breakfast
The best wifi we encountered in two weeks on the road.
it was ok, very dated and noisy
poor check in , took thirty minutes, there were eight people behind me waiting also
Easy to check in and out
No free coffee in the am. Even lower star properties offer free coffee. And you would think that for nearly $----/night they would, too!
Fantastic location, many chain restaurants within walking distance. Ruby Tuesdays attached to hotel. Staff was very friendly.
Rooms were clean and what you'd expect.
Slowest elevators I've ever experienced in my life. Staff wasn't very friendly. Not once did anyone at the front desk when we would return.
That they had good soundproofing or I was too tired because I was able to have uninterrupted sleep even with the chaos described below.
Hotel was in total chaos with children varying ages running up and down the hallways (which are open onto a courtyard) on pretty much all floors, and then a staff member telling me that they had until 10 and as long as they didn't knock on people's doors!
Did like the location of the hotel and some of the amenities.
Awful experience for the price we paid. There was a lot going on at the hotel and it was VERY, VERY noisy. And while I know it was a pet friendly room, it was dirty and smelly. Would not expect this from a 3 star hotel or a Holiday Inn. Very disappointing
Carpets in halls very dirty. Air cond not very good. Pillows are too thick. Bedding is quite hot. Usually full of kids sports teams. A good sleep is difficult due to the beds/bedding/air conditioner.
The hotel was not clean. Parking was limited. It is not a 3 star hotel
Clean room and convenient location. Nice fitness area.
Breakfast not included
Locates right off I-75 it was a great place to stop for the night. Easy to locate and not far to drive to.
Front desk wasn't very freindly
They don't have a hot tub anymore.
The location was great and the lobby was decorated for the holidays just beautifully. The furniture in the rooms were very nice.
The rooms were not spotless. There was dried something on night stand and carpet had lots of stains. Did not feel clean enough to us. We had 2 rooms that night and both were the same level of clean, just not enough care taken.
actually the hotel is very nice.
I don't believe they put any protection from sound in the room it was very noisy. Doors slamming.coffee was very expensive. They said you can only get free coffee at a Holiday Inn Express. This was as nice as any Holiday Inn Express but much more money.
Convenient location, spacious rooms.
No complimentary breakfast, food was overpriced.
Good breakfast from restaurant
front desk service at check in
Price for the convenience to the highway.
Location. Good air conditioner
Bathroom is small. Counter is tiny. Elevator extremely slow.
Comfortable night's sleep.
All appeared clean except for 2 'used' washcloths hanging on the shower curtain rod. Reported to front desk clerk when leaving. She offered us breakfast as compensation.
Good bedding, good ADA compliance,
no free Breakfast for---- room terrible
We have stayed at many 2.5 star that out preform this motel. Certainly, for the online room rate there should be breakfast at no additional charges.
Very dated, there was an odd smell throughout. My room had cobwebs where wall and ceiling meets. Water dripped continuously in the shower and there had been obvious water damage in the past.
The wireless internet was not working unless you headed to the lobby. Don't think the signal is strong enough. We were on the 5th floor and the elevator was extremely slow.
I got the cheapest room available with the smallest beds and no refrig or microwave
Close to highway exit
Poor parking. Desk clerk was rude and charged me for staying at the hotel after I had paid Priceline, I showed the desk clerk the electronic receipt from Priceline and he demanded a paper receipt. I had to call Priceline to prove I had already paid.
We were put in a room that had dogs and the smell was horrible. Also the room next door had dogs and they were barking. I asked why they put us on the floor that allowed dogs and they said sorry it must have been the only thing available.
Our stay was pleasant. The location was convenient. Wished you provided a free breakfast, a refrigerator or microwave. We enjoyed the indoor pool, especially when it rained. The fitness room was great, as well as the lobby with hot coffee and warm cookies in the evening. Would recommend the hotel to others.
The hotel room was clean and ready on arrival. The desk clerk was efficient and checked us in quickly and without problems. It was dinner time and we were glad to find a Ruby Tuesday attached to the hotel so we did not need to get back in the car. Food was good and the service was OK. Free wifi was available and the TV was in good working condition. I was unhappy with the fact that there was not a free breakfast as offered in most of the other Lake City hotels.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR STAY. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN. WE STAYED JUST FOR AN OVERNIGHT, BUT WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
Not only was the reservation super easy to make online, but also the actual face-to-face part of everything couldn't have been more easy or cheerful. After having traveled 5 hours, this was our stopping point on our way to Disneyworld. Our room was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and the overall environment exceeded our expectations by far! Thanks to the staff that made our overnight stay a joy!!!
Basically, this is a nice but overpriced hotel. Very attractive interior, with an open area above the lobby. \n\nLake City is a large hotel/restaurant stopping point, as it is near the intersection of two inerstates (I-10 and I-75), and is close enough to serve as extra hotel space for two large college towns, Gainesville (University of Florida) and Tallahassee (Florida State University) for game and special weekends, like opening days, graduations, etc.\n\nIf you are planning on stopping in Lake City and it is not a football, graduation, or opening day of one of these universities, check other hotels in the area fiirst. We wanted a reservation, as we knew we were arriving late, but could have picked up a room in another nearby hotel for half the price. Maybe not as nice, but still new and clean, I am sure.
Don't stay at this hotel. Especially for a function. It was the most disappointing time I ever had at a hotel. It totally ruined my groups' meeting.
Rooms were very clean and staff was excellent.
