Certainly located in a different area from hotels!!! Set in 33 acres of tropical land, this hotel is quite far from other hotels and restaurants, but there is so much choice here that its not a problem. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, and for a higher price, you can get a room with a 'Savanna View' where you can look out on Zebras, Giraffes and lots more animals - the best time to see them is early morning. There are planty of walkways through the grounds where you can see lots more animals and there are activities for the children like being a junior researcher, watching animal handlers feed the animals, watching them at dusk with night vision and games rooms and playgrounds. For the adults there is a good fitness center, and lovely spa with steam rooms and saunas and various treatments. There is also a babysitting option available. The pool area is great, with a choice of pools and a huge slide, open all day. There are 4 restaurants to choose from, which serve a wide variety of meals, and there is a free shuttle service to the main attractions at Disney. The staff are really friendly and efficient. Definately somewhere different to stay!!
