Excellent location. Friendly staff
No kettle/coffee in the room. Room nice size. Bathroom nice size but overall a bit run down. Not certain about the cleanliness of th carpets.
Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our time there.......we actually cancelled our stay an hour after arriving. Through Kayak and the hotel we were able to arrange a refund for the two nights we were booked in and book other accommodation thought Kayak. The Excalibur was very run down and the rooms were poor. We were only informed when we arrived that the pool was closed for maintenance......this was to be relaxing time and this info was the final straw!
Walkability inside and connecting to other hotels was good.
construction happening in the room above mine during the day and evening, making loud noises and hammering, dropping things. Did not let me relax.
Easy check in Clean rooms Nice pool Area
Expensive pool side Adult beverages Not enough breakfast options
They gave me a smoking room when I first checked in, and couldn't change it until the following day. First night was awful. Couldn't sleep. Second night was better. But I left a night early to get out of there.
Clean quiet rooms and a good location on the strip, also usually affordable
It's really outdated, Casino smells like covered up smoke
One of the more relatively inexpensive hotels on the strip. Good location..
This hotel hasn't changed at all. I've visited/stayed at the Excalibur since I was a child, and it's still the same as I remember it from way back then. Desperate need of a remodel.
Good value for the money!
okay location, at south end of strip. good value.
desperately needs updating!!
Gilberto at the check in desk went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We will go back simply because the customer service was excellent.
Dirty spa tub and moldy smell
Location: right at the strip (south end).
Old and somewhere run down. Trashy crowd.
Cheapest I could find on short notice.
Non smoking room smelled like an ash tray - worse than the main casino. I actually found this at par with Circus Circus - not a compliment.
Pretty much envy thing was old, outdated, falling apart. Place is in need of a makover
The spa, the pool, shopping, restaurants were great. Rooms were ok
Clean Rooms, Heating & A/C worked, comfortable beds and nice staff.
Thought the available food choices were a little on the expensive side. Went to Johnny Rockets, got a burger and chicken tenders, shared an order of fries and a fountain soda - $30. A little pricey...
Didn't stay long enough to find out
Our daily housekeeping service person was great!
Upon checking in for our 3 night stay, they had the room wrong, had my reservation with me so it was fixed. Get to room in Tower 1 and it had wall plates missing on the outlets. Moved to another room in Tower 2 AC did not work. Maintenance sent up to fix changed filters in unit, looked like they had not been changed or cleaned since the place was built. Both husband and I ended up with a respiratory illness our second night. Needs better security to handle those guests who have chosen hoover indulge.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet
Great service checked in and out quickly. Room was clean and kept up well. Tables always had an open seat somewhere. As a solo man in my mid 20's it was perfect.
Honestly can't think of one good thing to say
Hotel smells bad, staff had bad attitudes and they hound you to buy discount coupons every time you turn around. Buffet used to be the best around. Was horrible. No food out and very little to chose from. Will never return!
Because of the price they let time share companies hound you at every enterence . we were stopped multiple times from our room to the street. Everyday it never ended in this hotel. We won't be going back to Vegas because of this
We had a non smoking room that reeked of snoke
Wish room service was later rather than only 2pm Non smoking room but had smoking Better food choices
The rooms need to be updated
We liked the accommodations the hotel made after having to request a room change.
Didn't like that the sink wasn't working properly, had to clean up the mess left by repairman ourselves, toilet kept running, and poor drink service while gambling
rooms were comfortable and clean
too many young children, even late at night. the lamp over the desk had a pull chain that hit you in the head every time you reached for something on the desk unless you were sitting down - very annoying
The bed sheets what ripped up , the sink would not Drain and if you flushed the toilet or run the shower the sink would back up it was so nasty
My reservation was for the older of the two towers, I was upgraded to the newer of the two. The room was comfortable and clean. The medieval aesthetic was present in the table and one of the light fixtures, but otherwise it was just a nice, contemporary room. For the price, it far exceeded my expectations
Even though Excalibur is on the strip, it still feels remote. There is a tram to Luxor and Mandalay Bay. But if you want to go to say, Paris or Bellagio, prepare for a 1 mile+ walk. Prepare for a 30 minute+ check in line, and their automated check out system didn't work.
We checked in our luggage and then requested it to be brought up to our room when when we were given a key. A half our after waiting in our room we called the bell desk and were told there were 6-7 people ahead of us. We called back and told them we'd pick it up ourselves. When we got to the bell desk, they told us we needed some kind of ticket. My husband went back upstairs and realized he had already given the worker the ticket and that she hadn't given him another. when he came back down to tell her, she said "oh yeah! just wait over there and someone will bring out your luggage". After 30mins of waiting by the desk, we only saw two guys leave with someone's luggage. I was so tired and angry, I asked if I could please get my luggage. They just kept telling us to wait and just sat there, ignoring us and other people waiting for their luggage. I finally got fed up and started talking to the people checking in their luggage and warned them not to check in their luggage, that it was awful service. After another 10mins of that, finally a worker came and took me to the back where the luggage was stored and told me to find my cart. It was among 20ish other carts almost two the back blocked by another row of carts. There is no way they were going to deliver our cart within the next two hours. The room was fine, but I was left super frustrated with their service.
The concierge Ana was extremely helpful especially with her personal knowledge of all the shows and discounts.
Perfect room, very comfortable.
My shower was clogged up and the pool closed at 7pm, but besides that a good over all experience.
I loved the 3rdroom we got since they switched us due to room issues. We stayed for one week for edc and the service was good, once we received that 3rd room in tower two with a great pool view.
Tower 1 is disgusting it's not so much that it is out dated that I can deal with but the carpets were damp and it smelt musty. We had 3 room Changes when we were staying for a week. Our second room down the hall from our 1st in tower one was missing the handles off the dressers so we could not use them, again we were staying in Vegas for the week so we needed the space. Not only that but we had a window view of the strip in our first room then they have us the second room which faced walls and air conditioning units. We spent 800 for the week a good deal, but we were expecting newly renovated rooms as stated on the web, but we got tower 1 which has not been remodeled yet only tower two. Our third room they did upgrade us to tower two and the room was fabulous I'd highly recommend if you need a nice but cheap stay in Vegas! It had a view of the pool and the back side of Vegas! I would stay there again but only in tower two they need to renovate tower 1. House keeping is pretty slow so if you want something like blankets or towels order and hour in advance or when your out.
Convenient, has parking for those hauling a trailer, lots of food choices inside.
Broken TV that was going to be fixed at midnight, after I had headed to sleep. Missing DND door hanger, broken hair dryer.
Atmosphere was lovely for the kids. Had no issues with staff, rooms were clean.
The resort fee of $84.
Decor carpet and bathroom is very old and nasty.
We asked for non-smoking room but was given a room that smells like smoke. Parking was really bad and valet get full fast
the taxes, no fridge in the room
