Welcome to extravagance, without extravagant prices. Service without snobbiness. And unpretentious luxury from the moment you walk through the door. At Monte Carlo, you'll get all this and more, whether you're in our luxurious AAA 4-Diamond rooms, poolside cabanas, tranquil spa or one of our many amazing restaurants and lounges. And since we have the best location on the Strip, you'll be right in the middle of the action. Everything you need for an amazing Las Vegas experience is right here. Get started today. If you salute a perfectly cooked rib eye, if you fantasize about fresh pasta, if you weep at the sight of a warm chocolate souffl, you'll be in heaven at Monte Carlo, where there's a range of restaurants to satisfy your every desire. And the best part is, you can dine with that familiar Blue Man Group has turbo-charged its newest show in Las Vegas with electrifying music, sensational technology, and innovative new ways of interacting with the audience. The new, mega-enhanced show is a thrilling, energy-infused experience that introduces wildly inventive musical instruments, a humorous look at robots and creativity, and a mind-blowing (literally) tour inside the neural network of the human brain. Each night the Blue Men deliver an extraordinary spectacle as well as a soulful and primal kind of euphoric experience that makes you feel vibrantly alive and more closely connected with the people around you.The option to splash in the Wave Pool or simply drift away on a raft through the 400-foot-long Lazy River is the hardest decision to make at the pool area. With four pools, there's plenty of fun in the sun to be had, and with weekend pool parties, sand volleyball tournaments and live DJs and MCs, the poolside party will be rocking from sunrise to sunset.
It was so clean and luxurious. We truly enjoy our view. We were on the 32nd floor, the room was spacious and it was the best date night ever. Thank you for the upgrade. Willie and Tera Moore
Staff was friendly. Location was great! Restaurants were good too. 800 pizza and Creamery Blvd were great places for quick bites. Valet was fast.
Rooms were a bit outdated. AC didn't work great. Noises in hallways could be easily heard in our room.
The spa is awesome and there is a nice Hispanic housekeeper. I think her name is Lucy. She is a very nice lady.
I think it could do the difference. The cigarette smell is very strong in the lobby.
It's a great location with nice rooms, casino, and pools.
was a bit blindsided by the "resort fees" and the first room they gave us was already occupied.
The staff was great!
The rooms need to be renovated and the pool only gets sun from 12-3 since it is surrounded by tall buildings.
Customer service check in rude. I mentioned it was my 17th year wedding anniversary and yet she gave me 2 beds. But she said if you specified king bed then we can make magic happen. Yet no single bed She also didn't offer me a no. Smoking room. The room was old and out dated and smelled horrible of smoke.
Atmosphere was really good. The pool was so much fun. The staff was very friendly.
Carpet in halls needs to be redone, furniture in rooms replaced.
Very clean and courteous staff. Definitely someplace I would come back to! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
I liked how high our room was.
I didn't like how they gave me the absolute room that I purchased online, than they mentioned it's not guaranteed but yet online it didn't say anything on no guarantee. Very disappointed when I got the pyramid hotel last year they gave us exactly what we purchased and for a much cheaper budget. Should just have taken my business their.
We love the Monte Carlo and have been coming for years and will continue coming for years! Clean, very hospitable and great location on the strip at an affordable price! Grateful!
Great location and restaurants have improved
internet sucked and was worse than a dial up connection at times.
Very clean, awesome service and staff.
The bed was nice and comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Privacy lock on door was easy to use. Room was very clean when we checked in.
Only ONE wastebasket in the whole room. When housekeeping came in, they emptied the trash, but didn't take the trash we had to stack next to the basket, because the basket was full. Only ONE chair in the room and it wasn't even comfortable.. Outlets were mostly inaccessible and were loose. One didn't even have an outlet cover on it, which could pose a fire and electric shock hazard. Temperature was difficult to regulate, There was no coffeemaker. Towels, while clean smelled scorched. Tub took a long time to drain. Shower was horrible! Very low water volume but the pressure made it feel like needles. Ironing board was unstable. Iron did not have an automatic shut off.
The bathroom sink clogged we had to wait for the water to drain before we can use it, the towels are so worn out
Staff were top notch. The rooms were good for the price. Great location.
It's an older hotel so it's not as new and shiny as the newer ones on the Strip. The resort fee is ludicrous, especially since i didn't partake in any pool, show, or concierge services. 2 bottles of water per per room upon arrival would have been nice. The shower was leaky.
Casino slots I play a lot Bars, pool it's was so easy to checkout too that's important for me. Nice place
A/C to cold.
The beds were so comfortable! The suites were nice inside.
There were a few broken furniture pieces in my friends room.
Loved every minute of it
Staff was friendly
Not enough cocktail girls
1st room had a good layer of dust everywhere & was dirty. The mattress was sagging it was so worn out. I called the front desk and they were friendly. They moved us to another floor. The 2nd room was worse. Had mold growing around the tub and mold on wall vent in bathroom, worn out mattress, stained carpet.... Dumpy and dirty. I would not stay here! The check in line was a 25 minute wait.
No hair dryer in the room and I called twice for house keeping to bring one. I waited a while for them to bring it. When house keeping cleaned our room. They didn't leave any drinking glasses. I understand that they are busy and have alot of rooms to clean but I had to be some where at a certain time. My Daughter has stayed there and she referred us. But I won't be staying again. Location and pool.
Hair ball and penny on the bath room floor when we first walked in. Body soap harden on bath tub from previous guests. No coffee maker or water bottle. I guess they stop providing those but disapointed.
The room was nice but that's where it stopped.
service from the staff poor, food was terrible, the facilities were dated and unclean Payed a resort fee not sure why because the pool and spa closed at 1900 hours and they wanted to charge for the steam room in the gym so what was the resort fee for? I asked for an explanation at the front desk and was met with a rude response that did not cover my question. I would not recommend this hotel way overpriced.
We liked the look of the casino and the bed pillows. The rooms are also a nice size. The proximity of rooms to check in, food court and pool were convenient.
We didn't like that the furniture in the room looked dated. The curtain on the windows looked like something from the seventies. The carpets were dirty and the bathroom had miss matched faucets, shower head, towel racks etc,. As some of the fixtures were gold and others silver. Not what you'd expect in "monte Carlo". The resort fees make what seemed like a good deal not such a great rate for the room.
The lazy river was nice and it was in a great location
We booked months in advance and requested a higher room preferably. Since we arrived on a red eye, we got a 'pool view' on the 3rd floor which meant we had a view of a roof...no view at all. Then our entire floor smelled like marjiuana and when we went to say something they did not offer to move our room due to the smell.
location of room to elevator and food court
The bathroom toilet was literally the loudest toilet flush I've ever heard in my life. No joke, I had to lean against the wall, cover both ears with my hands and flush with my left foot every time. It was so loud that at night if someone uses the bathroom everyone wakes up even with the door shut. Just for this reason alone we will never stay there again but it wasn't the only problem. The beds are way to soft and I usually enjoy a soft mattress. I woke up every morning with a pretty bad back ache. The A/C in the rooms don't do a real good job because of the direction it faces. Half of the room will get really cold and the other half not so much. The food isn't very good but is still very expensive although this seems to be becoming the norm. in all of the Vegas casinos. The days of a great and reasonably priced buffet are officially over. The gaming floor is alright but doesn't have anything special to separate itself from any dive casino anywhere in the country let alone Las Vegas. Last but not least the pool area is not what you think it is by looking up the Monte Carlo Casino. The wave pool is small and just puts out a constant stream of very small waves and the lazy river is full of people hanging out on the edge talking and kids swimming around like mad. This makes the lazy river not lazy or relaxing at all !!!!!
The staff was helpful but it was obviously understaffed for a Monday check in time at 3. It took half an hour in line. But the location is great if you want to explore the strip. Right in the center.
Understaffed, hotel room was dirty ( holes in one set of sheets, bath tub had hair on the wall, it smelled like smoke in a non smoking room), requested a fridge and it never arrived.
Rooms are dirty and the carpet is stinking with so many stains.
The room, the floor, the bathroom, casino was alright
The casino floor along with the restaurants and amenities were all what you would expect from a hotel at this price point. The staff was friendly and courteous, and knowledgeable of the facility. The bed in our room was very comfortable, which came in handy after late nights. The pool area was small but very nice.
The room itself wasn't what I expected. When compared to the signature at the MGM, which was around the same price point, the room at the Monte Carlo wasn't sub-par. The bathtub/shower was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The fact that you pay over $250 for a room and it doesn't even have a mini fridge was surprising. Overall, I would have to say, that while I might visit the pool area again, I do not believe that I will be staying at this hotel again.
The rooms could have been cleaner.
Really liked the chinese restaurant there. I can't remember the name. Great food, superb service. The Japanese restaurant next door also has great food (Yosho's) but the service is slow and the waiter's seem very edgy.
Monte Carlo Suite. Big, yes. Deluxe in any way? NO. If you are looking for a LARGE ROOM, go ahead, but their standard rooms are some of the largest on the strip anyway. It's a mistake I won't make again. The refrigerater was loud and we had to shim it with a sandle to make it stop. No robes in the closet, just slippers. We were told we had to call for robes. I did even though I knew I wouldn't wear them. No WIFI!!! We were told when we called that only the 32nd floor got WIFI. Is this 2015 or what?? When we asked how to get internet service they said that an ethernet cable was attached to the desk. It wasn't. An "engineer" came to the room and pointed the cable out behind the tv across the room from the desk and acted like we were stupid. He also said the hotel had wifi on floors. Oh really???? Overall a disappointing experience starting with the 45 minute check-in.
Great location & cheap, but you usually get what you pay for, unfortunately.
No in-room WiFi, worn mattress, poor water pressure, worn carpet, & a rude casino dealer experience.
Was like a motel 6, rip off for the money. Shower had little water pressure, small stream that left shampoo in your hair
nothing The worst, will never stay or recommend this dump to anybody
Screaming children everywhere Wall Mart low class people Terrible restaurants Everything extremely over-priced Very old out-dated interior Place was under major construction outside. what an ugly mess place was way overbooked No room service....come on!!!!!!!! cocktail waitress in old frumpy outfits the ultimate in phony run down over the hill glamor No class or sex appeal at all! 3 days maid never once made my room up I cant tell you how disappointed i am what an absolute waste of money
Leaving and knowing I'll never come back.
Hotel is tired and run down. Had moths in my room and saw them throughout the hotel (Google Monte Carlo moth infestation). Furniture was worn out, stains on walls, ceilings, carpets, poor lighting and room facilities (no plugs at desk or next to bed). The kicker was that the only wifi internet access is in the lobby. Even the dingiest hotels in the middle of nowhere have wifi. Could barely get a cell/data signal on my phone so moved to a different floor and it was only marginally better. Casino and restaurants are sad and depressing. Location is pretty far north on the strip - not ideal. Best part was the checking out using the kiosks in the lobby. Never again.
Free water bottles. The bottles were dirty, looked like someone's food was on it so I didn't drink them. Resort fees were less than $50 per night.
Terribly dirty. Cut my stay short. No way this is a 4 star hotel, no idea who rated it. Towels smelled like food, stains all over walls. Both of the chairs appeared to have sex/butt crack stains. The lounge chair was making me itchy so I covered it with a towel. The top drawer of the dresser would always open by about 6 inches. This was a danger in the dark. There was porn in my room in the open bottom of the dresser. I asked for a cleaner room. Front desk told me that all of the rooms are equally run down. They gave me a partial refund instead. So dirty.
