Conveniently situated halfway between Coventry and Warwick, the hotel is situated in the heart of Stoneleigh Park.
Staff very polite, food very good, parking & room very good.
Only bottled cider available in the bar at £2.50 a bottle making a pint £5.00. rather expensive.
Excellent location for anything at the showground and very close to Leamington Spa which was a really lovely town to visit.
The room was pleasant
The dining room looked like a working men's club
Nice and quiet (no agricultural show on), excellent cooked breakfast buffet and proper self-service coffee machine serving excellent espressos, etc. Nice clean room, fresh bathroom, lots hot water for a nice big bath (I mention these things because they are the exception rather than the rule in £50/night hotels)
Uninviting eating area for supper (which I avoided and found the excellent 3 Horseshoes in Bubbenhall a few miles away), corridors feel like an American Motel, poxy little electric room heater couldn't cope with chilly Autumn weather, wall-mounted TV facing the bed was so small I had to sit on the foot-end of the bed to watch it. They charge £5/hour for wi-fi!!! Er, get real!!
Felt comfortable as a single female guest.
Surround in bathroom broken. No room service menu in room - had to go to reception to order.
Unique environment - right in the middle of the UK's premier agricultural showground. Wonderful.
Friendliness of staff - Convenience of site - Top sheet on bed - being given room upsairs as requested.
welcome at reception, made provision for extra needs, very comfortable good food
helpful staff, nice clean hotel, reasonably priced
Being in the centre of the show ground it was nice and quiet with nice green views
My only complaint was ther was no seperate restaurant so as you tried to eat at lounge tables, others were watching tv and drinking.
