The advertised fitness room has been closed since 2008!
Easy to find, warm
Nothing, it is quite ordinary. The same standard as Premier or Ibis. Clean room, shower, sleep, go !!
Caught smoking in the room, cost £50 extra. My fault of course it clearly says no smoking. But on a very cold and wet day there was no alternative smoking area.
The waiter in the bar was really on our back (my colleagues and myself) to make sure we were paying at the right time, the right amount... quite pressurised, and on the other hand a very slow process at the reception to book in and out!!! Unfortunately, not a great experience.
Having tea/coffee making facilities was very good to find and the receptionist was very helpful.
The bed was very uncomfortable, creaky and the pillows very hard and uncomforatable. Conversation from the room next door at 7am was very audible and not welcome on a Sunday morning
location of hotel, size of room and breakfast on sat morning was good.
breakfast on sunday, choice of food was a lot less than the sat. There was confusion about our room we were allocated, when we went to the room there was someone else,s bellongings there so we had to be moved to another room of same level.
Hotel is tired. Food overpriced and poor quality.
additional facilities (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi)
No lift to first floor.
Standard lamp not working and shower needs attention
