Drapes falling off, exhaust fan broken, rude staff, squeaky closet door, shower curtain falling, waited 45 minutes for someone to help with getting the shower to work after 3 contacts with the front desk, hard to get in and out of traffic to this location
The public spaces are wonderful. World's largest hot tub!
Had to wait quite a while to check in.
Clean and well maintained for an older property
So much construction around the hotel.
older motel but very nice
Easy to find.
Gave us bad directions to the room, after 20 minutes wandering with our bags we went back to the desk, the worker wasn't sure how to get to the room. Trash found under the tv stand. TINY bathroom, had to go behind the door to close it.
clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice hot tub.
pool was overcrowded.
No continental breakfast. Drunk people in the halls
Ants in the Bathroom
Everything was good.
great locationloved the sleep number bed!
a bit of construction, but GPS got us around it!
Easy to get to and the staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Quiet rooms and amenities worked as advertized. Good value for the price.
The overall feel of the place is disjointed, but this is primarily from its unusual renovation from an outdoor motel type structure to its current enclosed 'hotel' status. Rooms are spread far apart and elevators are central. Long haul with luggage.
Everything was clean and well maintained. It looks kind of dated from the outside, but the inside was nice!
We waited over 30 minutes just to get checked in. There was only one person at the desk and although he was nice, the front desk was obviously understaffed. No refrigerator in the room was a bummer, and the bathroom in our room was TINY, but clean.
The hotel was easy to find. We were there on a hot/humid weekend, the air conditioner worked perfectly. I have stayed in hotels where the room would never get cool enough, so this was great!
We did not want a pool-side room, but no effort was made on behalf of the staff to change that after request. Staff did nothing to quiet guests around pool later in evening (10pm). Hotel is a faded rose. The second CP we stayed in that needs a makeover
We loved the sleep number bed!
The breakfast food was a little on the cold side. ...cold potatoes and bacon, eggs were just right though
The room & motel were both very nice, and spacious.
The outside of motel was kind of dingy, but think it was the paint color, rather than a lack of care. There's an abandoned motel across the side road, but overall the location was great.
Staff was friendly
Rooms were humid, no elevator - had to carry bags up 2 flights of stairs, hotel very dated- seemed more like a 1.5 star. Took over 30 min to be checked in.
Location was good. Breakfast buffet was nice, but not complimentary.Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice.
It took over 20 minutes to check in. The interior of the hotel was extremely humid, especially the hallways. This is an atrium type hotel and one side does not have elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs.
The bed was awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful
Gym was fairly well equipped, but essentially was a non-ventilated hut in the middle of the lobby of this former Holidome, so temperature inside was 20 degrees higher than lobby. Room faced lobby so very noisy.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Theybwerebthe best part of the stay
The room was dated- old photos and furnishings. There was even paint chipping in the bathroom. Beds were horrible. Not at all what we have come to expect from a Crowne Plaza.
The rooms were nice and clean.
The customer service was terrible. The people were nice enough, but struggled to answer questions, perform their tasks and even greet a guest at the desk in a reasonable amount of time. It was difficult to get issues addressed in a timely fashion.
The staff were friendly the place was clean . It was across from the Costco .
I found it odd that this is a Crown Plaza ... it was more of a Holiday Inn Express level hotel ...We had to lug our backs up to the 2nd floor/ no elevators The beds were double/ not queen ...
I liked the location
I did not like the manager of the hotel he was very rude to me in front of my famly.
The pool area was nice.
The area around the location does not live up to the star rating for this hotel. The furnishings were outdated. The general appearance of the room needed attention. The bathroom was extremely small. The beds were old and uncomfortable.
The bedding & towels were fabulous. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The pool & common areas looked great, but I didn't have time to enjoy them.
The bathroom needed some maintenance & cosmetic help. The check in clerk was oddly defensive when I spelled my last name (because it's easy). It was comical. The check out clerk was less than cheery, but it was 4:00 a.m., so I guess she's allowed.
The sleep number beds were horrible!! So uncomfortable and deflated by the morning.
Good sized hot tub and nice temperature.
Sleep # Queen bed was really more like a full-sized bed and didn't care for the sleep # system. Would've preferred a regular mattress.
Easy checkin and easy to park and walk in
Left my phone charger in the room and housekeeping said it wasn't there. Bummer they weren't honest. It was in plain sight.
easy to find.
The hotel was old and a little worn looking.
Nice clean hotel located close to shopping, food, and drinking establishments.
getting into and out of the hotel area wasn't' so easy.
The inside view of the hotel
No microwave in the room and the cold buffet breakfast they serve that's not free and the double bed room they gave me and my husband
I got a bad price for the quality. The room was next to the breakfast dining and had to hear people eating at 6am.
It was cold; the bed was bad; the pillows were really bad, very small and no support; bathroom was very small
The Crowne Plaza name. The select comfort bed.
No in-room refrigerator. Bathroom door was rusty and old. The hotel is not up to its star rating
The floor in our room was so dirty our feet were black after walking on the carpet. The decor of the entire hotel is outdated.
Location was central to the event we were attending.

What I liked best about this hotel were the looks on the inside. The lobby, restaurant and pool area were nice looking.
The beds were horrible, the air conditioner did not work properly and the rooms were WAY TOO SMALL!
The hotel was clean. Desk staff was good
The hotel is noisy. It is outdated. The bathrooms are too small. the a/c was weak. they didn't serve food through the middle of the day. the pool area is near too many rooms and its noisy. the hotel seems under staffed. this was more like a super 8.
Room Location. Not in Overland Park.
Location was close to where i was going but right by Supee 8 & Comfirt Inn
Seemed very outdated and dingy for price. I think struck my rental mini an in the parking lot overnight because there was a big scufif on the rear bumper that wasn't there when I checked in.
The pool & hot tub were nice
Staff was not friendly or helpful. TV went out during a movie, remote for sleep # bed didn't work, no restaurant for dinner, just a dingy bar, handicapped seat in tub fell off. Bad experience!
Location to the mall
Terrible customer service when I checked in. She slammed my keys on the counter, gave me a dirty look when I walked up to the counter to checkin, after I received room keys she basic lyrics threw papers for me to sign on the counter and snatched back.
When i arrived, they informed me that they had rooms that were damaged and they had to put me in another hotel. This hotel was $--+/night, they put me in Super 8 that was pretty nasty.
Rooms were totally bare - almost nothing on wall except white paint. Additionally, the television was old tube tv (website said otherwise), so felt like I was back in late 90's in my room. The exercise room had almost no working cardio machines.
Nothing, they sent me to a Motel 8
Customer Service, went in to check in, they ask me to wait a minute, she goes to a room , close the door, come back five minutes later saying we gotta go to another hotel that doesn't have half of the stuff they do. Worst experience with hotel so far.
Poor customer service. This was a 3star price and 1star room and staff. Hotel is old needs updated. Not even a fridge in the room. They said breakfast was included but upon arrival they said it was $10 extra fee.
The lobby was opulent and the linens were wonderful. Aside from that, though, this was a very mediocre room.
No elevator. Old part of hotel. This was not a 3 1/2 star hotel; it was a 0.9! The room was run down with a very old TV, foggy windows, bad caulking jobs around shower and air conditioner, and not enough plugs.
Staff was friendly.
It is so poorly set up that it is hard to navigate the hotel and the parking is terrible, with many one way streets surrounding it. Definitely not 3.5 stars.
The swimming pool smell was overbearing
The smell of the swimming pool was overbearing
Very friendly workers, made us feel welcome especially with their services in the dining, was impressed by their buffet during breakfast. Will be going back soon.
