The Rodeway inn is near the historic town of Sunbury, the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum, and Clyde Peeling's Reptiland, a unique zoo specializing in reptiles and amphibians. This Lewisburg hotel is less than two miles from Bucknell University and the Bald Eagle State Forest. Magnificent vistas of the scenic Buffalo Valley are also nearby. Susquehanna University and the Susquehanna Valley Mall are within eight miles from the hotel. Visitors will enjoy outdoor activities at R. B. Winter State Park, only six miles away. A restaurant and cocktail lounge are adjacent to the hotel. Additional dining opportunities are nearby.
Very dirty, poor parking, and other people staying at hotel were smoking, drinking beer and shirtless in parking lot and public walkways
Came with a mini fridge and microwave, was clean and not dilapidated, great for the price
Ice machine was broken
the room was not cleaned before we arrived. the
I liked it because of the location
what i didnt like is that the room wasn't maintained well, i found spider walking on top of the bed and other insects...the lamp near the bed wasnt working, the nightstand drawers wouldn't open and the cabinets looked old and dusty.
This was the closest hotel to my destination that I could find with a reasonable price
It was very basic, but the bed was comfortable
The reason why I like the hotel is because it was close to my desired location.
The reason why I didn't like it because they didnt have my room set up. There was some confusion with what I wanted, I asked for two beds on online, when I got to the hotel there was one bed, so they had to transfer me to another room.
The room was fine, as expected.
Promised free breakfast, but the office was locked. We had to ring the doorbell to even check out at 7 am. We couldn't have had that stale cereal even if we wanted to!
Yes they did not change sheets big stains on sheets
staff was unable to assist with a car emergency no local knowledge and coffee was never ready in the morning
It smelt gross in the lobby like curry and mold the ac in room barley worked I didnt realize people live in this hotel there was a guy grilling outside his room
location and view out the bedroom window
they didn't clean our room one of the days - room way too crowded lamps on wall didn't work insufficient electrical outlets
Not the cleanest place I've ever been!
Upon arrival I noted that soap and shampoo were not in the room. I obtained them from the front desk with little comment. The carpet was dirty and I later noticed under the desk that a pill remained from some prior guest. I made a bad choice with this motel.
The staff was good. Made me feel welcome. I had a good breakfast
Noisy. Poorly maintained. Threadbare sheets.
You get what you pay for with this hotel, It's not the Hilton or Marriott but that's not what you're paying for. Staff was kind and courteous, room was clean and quite, hotel had free wi-fi which should be advertised so guests know, breakfast bar was decent and lite, good for a pick me up for those on the run but not for a sit down breakfast like you would get at a restaurant. Bathroom could use a little work but for the most part was okay. Staff did let us know that they were under renovations. I have stayed here previously without my family a few years back and the hotel has undergone massive renovations, has a new look/feel. Overall the location is great, right next to Bucknell University and you get what you pay for. I already have made reservations for next years bucknell parents weekend as i know it's tough to get a room in this town during that time, but for the price you pay and the location i would recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a night to stay or even family's who need/want to spend a weekend in Lewisburg.
We stayed here for parents week-end at nearby Bucknell University. This hotel is an absolute nightmare and the Rodeway Inn franchise should revoke its association ASAP. The rooms were dirty, smelly of cigarette smoke and mold. The mattresses at least 20 years old, stained and sagging and VERY uncomfortable. The blankets at least as old and looked like something would crawl out of them. The room was very noisy. Throughout the night, I thought seruiously of just going outside and sleeping in my car, it was so gross in the room. We left the next morning forfeiting out 3 night paid stay because it was so gross. Do Not Stay Here
I picked this hotel online as it was cheaper than the rest of the motels around. I should've paid the extra $. The room was dingy and had an unclean feel to it. The breakfast bar only had coffee and juice to drink. There should've been tea bags and hot water available. Not impressed at all with this motel.
This place just stinks, I never had such a dirty room and the owners were nasty.
The most disgusting place I've ever paid to stay at. Filthy bathroom. Linens either stained or dirty. Dark. Loud AC unit. Will Never stay at this place again.
