Easy access on and off the highway. Close to some shopping and eating places.
The manager on duty told me I had reserved a smoking room.... neither of us smoke, and I don't understand how that happened?? He also told me I couldn't get the Wyndham rewards, because I went thru Priceline, I have never had that issue in the past.
It was cheap and the ladies at the front desk were very nice.
This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. There were hand prints, marks, and what looked like a blood smear on the wall behind the headboard of the bed. We could only try to not imagine where those gross remainders came from.Do they rent that room out by the hour because it seemed like there was enough left over residue to infect us all just from the walls. The entire wall that one side of the bed was near was shades of brownish yellow with streaks of an attempted cleaning frozen in time. There were curly hairs on the edge of the tub in plain view, the ceiling in the bathroom was discolored and dirty, and even the door knob on the bathroom door was called with years of dirt. The overnight front desk person looked at us like we were going to rob him before he realized we had a reservation (two threatening girls, mind you). Then he was just dismissive. If this stay hadn't be...
Little Falls is a great community to visit. The state park has amazing walking trails along the Mississippi.
The owner who greeted us was quite rude, noting that we should have not booked on Priceline and because we did it is going to take awhile. Breakfast was horrible with lack of options unlike other Super 8s we have stayed at.I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Little Falls has several other options and it would be worth paying a little more to be treated better.
It was an excellent location and the room was quiet.
All of the different levels would make it very difficult for older or disabled persons to navigate. The hotel was probably a standard Super 8. We are just not used to that quality as we usually choose Choice properties or Holiday Inn Express properties. We were in a time crunch and took our chances in getting a decent hotel on priceline. Total fail!!!! The price I got on priceline was about $25 higher than the hotels actual rate. I assumed that priceline would allow us to spend less money to get into a nicer hotel. Quite the opposite happened. It isn't the hotels fault.
location is convenience
very dirty -- dirty blanket, dirty floor; tiny bathroom, not friendly staffthis is the worst hotel ever stayed. They put me in the smoking room and wanted to charge more if I want to move to a non-smoking one. I do not know how they got the 2 star ranking.
This is the worst hotel I ever stayed -- dirty blanket, carpet and smelly room; the staff was not friendly, and many wiered people seems stay there.
cleaness. Should never ranked as 2 star.very dirty -- room, blanket, carpet; staff is not friendly; location is ok.
The location and the staff.
The location of our room and the smoke smell. For the price, it was fine. The staff was very helpful. We loved that you could walk to different locations, restaurants, bars, drugstore...
The breakfast bar was well stocked.
The person who checked us in was rude. There were ants in our room. We awoke to a leak in the bathroom. The refrigerator only worked if the lights were on. Oh and there was no wifi, just a community computer. The bedding was torn up and uncomfortable. We weren't expecting much from such an inexpensive hotel but we were at least expecting clean and dry. There were ants in the room and a leak in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was full of holes. The wifi was either out or a lie. The dining area was literally 2 tables with 2 chairs each the one morning we got a table we watched several other guests get their food look around and decide to go back to their rooms. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had in any hotel. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again.
I witnessed and experienced rude treatment. When I needed a non-smoking room, I was told 'that's what you get for booking with Priceline.com. I don't like them.' Eventually he switched rooms, but for $20 more dollars, which was the original price anyway.Because of the treatment of the guests checking in before me (everything was a big deal and an exasperating experience to the elderly man checking people in (owner, I think)). While I understand it's crazy busy during the summer months because it is a resort town, that is when he makes his money, firstly. And secondly, there should have been little or no delay because everyone had rooms booked ahead of time. Very condescending, and subsequently, I would not stay there again, nor recommend to anyone else. What struck me as odd was his comment about not liking Priceline. He mentioned had he been a better star rating, it would be easier to make changes. Not sure how tough it is to swap the...
