The apartment was large and well-appointed. The kitchen had all the appliances that were eeded in full working order. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery for 4 people. Spectacuoar views across the Mersey. Reasonable walking distance from the centre of town. Quiet.
At present (November 2010) the whole building is covered in scaffolding which is not attractive. the entrance way is along a narrow boarded-in passageway. The surrounding area is under development and is not attractive. Checking in after hours is unsatisfactory: you have to pay an extra fee for this which seems unfair.
The appartment was lovely.
When we arrived we found the building covered in scaffolding & construction workers. This was not on your website & I spoke to your staff about 5 times before we arrived to confirm our stay. It ruined our 5th wedding aniversary looking at the building, walkling through black hoardinds to grt to the entance, constantley meeting construction workers in the lift & in the corridors. There was construction work mess in the corridors. I have taken pictures & I shall be writing to your Manager. I am also at a later date reporting our stay on the popular websites for example, Trip Advisor.
Good views. Good location. No noise from neighbouring apartments. Quite nice furnishings/decor. Walking distance to main attractions.
The apartment was not cleaned properly and we were not told about it. The dishwasher did not work, door did not close. Meagre amounts of toileteries. No tea/coffee/milk, was under the impression that this was provided. I also got the impression of disorganisation at the office, I was called twice to ask my time of arrival, the second time being 2 hours after we'd checked in.
Situation; interiority, spacious
1.The outside of the building is being rehabilitated (oct 2010) and it doesn't seem an habitable building; it's an authentic construction work. I wouldn't recommend it while work of rehabilitation is in progress. 2. No people attending at reception, always you must phone them
Location, design, interior, 2pm check out!
Building work, but this really was not an issue...
I was booked into a very spacious two-bedroom apartment on the 7th floor. I had a view of the harbour and the Queen Mary 2 happened to be docked there on one of the days, giving me a splendid view of the fireworks! The apartment had everything you'd get in an upper class hotel, except breakfast. However, the kitchen is so well equipped, you'd be able to cook up just about anything yourself. They also had a wireless internet connection which worked very well. I'm going to stay here again on my next trip to Liverpool.
I could only wish that they would provide some spices in the kitchen, as this isn't something you'd like to buy on every trip or would think to bring with you. That only applies if you'd like to prepare your own food from scratch.
couldn't lower the temperature or open a window, Even with a fan and the balcony door open all night it was far too hot
ideal location and comfortable accommodation
No tea towel or kitchen roll but we understand this was a mistake and these are usually provided.
the location was great for going into the city and the staff were exceptionaly helpfull and polite
Beautiful veiws, quiet, clean. Everything we needed was there when we arrived. Friendly reception.
The directions confused us. Suggest follow signs to Albert Dock... ...Then with the river on your left pass the Liver building...
