They locked the office door at 11pm and you had to pound on the door to get their attention. They have no door bell. Employee says they have a phone outside that I could have picked up and it was a direct line into their office. No signs explaining that.
Didn't like anything about this motel.
They made fraudulent charges to my MasterCard.
Location, price and kitchenette
Trash was pilled up outside the room.
Parking lot was clean
Dumpy, less than desirable characters staying there, police there throughout stay because of issues,
Too many late night domestic disputes w/ police showing up.
Perfect location Love the mini kitchen always want a fridge comfy beds friendly helpful staff and clean room.
cooking my own meals on a range in the room
I liked the shape, or design of the shower.
Yes! Upon arrival, the room smelled like stale cigarettes. I didnt like that there were items lefted from previous tenants. The bed was hard, something bit me in bed. There wasn't a broom to sweep up anything.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Old TV. Would prefer a newer style (flat screen) instead of an old tube style.
Staff was friendly and location
I had to wait for clean sheets for several hours but for the price I can live with it.
There was riff raff running around there at night screaming and yelling. thought I was in a crack neighborhood. bed was hard as a rock and bed spreading was not fresh.
Good location. Staff was very nice.
They never came to clean my room or replace my towels.
Kitchen was nice to have
some times little loud people slaming there doors
Cheap and unpleasant No quality at all.
The location of the room. It was in front of a 24hrs McDonald. Too many car noises.
Occasionally we could access to wifi. The stuff tried to help, but no help at all. Theroom for two adults is doule. That is too small.
Bed was small and hard as a rock. Very Uncomfortable!!
The guy at the front desk, Ashton was rude. Said he couldn't find my reservation and then when I began to dial customer service all of a sudden he found it. Stuck me near the 'smoking' area outside and smelled cigarette smoke the entire time.
Close to where we needed.
Night manager tried to con us into paying for our hotel twice!
The manager, Kisha, is really a mean and discriminative person who wrongfully blamed my family for making noise and asked us to check out with a few hours notice. How can we become so noisy in one day after staying for 3 continuous weeks with no complain. The noise that she complained about was basically caused by our room's neighbor for which she blamed us and forced us to check out. It felt to me as if she just made an exceuse to push us out for renting the rooms to someone else. The terrible thing is that she charged my card for an extra day for being 30 minutes late in checking out. At our check in both the rooms were not made, they were all dirty. After I complained they gave us other rooms but every room had some broke and/or missing items i.e. exit-door lock, utencils, chairs, TV controller etc. Those concerns/items were not addressed/fixed promptly due to their poor customer service. We were tolerating these deficiencies only because renting two rooms was giving me some cost savings but I had to regret that later. You can expect any unfair and unpredictable behavior from their manager. They are not even a member of a Better Business Beureau (BBB). I recommend everyone to make sure about the manager change before booking a room at this Crossland. The only unique and good thing about this hotel is the low price.
I put my boyfriend in this hotel when he came to visit because it was close to my house and easily accessible. It was the cheapest around and nice. To me the mattress was too hard but it was fine for him. The size was a little small for my standards but it worked. Being able to get over there within 15min from my house made it very nice. As for amenities nearby, Chi Chi's is no longer there nor is Sveden House. Both are closed. There's Bob Evans about a half mile north, Olive Garden and IHOP a half mile north also, McDonalds Arby's, Wendy's all nearby. There's shopping like Walmart, Malls Meijer not too far. AMC Theatres about 7 miles west and a bowling alley a couple miles east. It's a nice central location for everything and easy to get to. I would go there again now that we're married and my home in Redford is a little small. They didn't have much of a military discount but it did take a few dollars off the price.
This hotel is in definite need of upgrading - the rooms are clean but shabbily decorated.
