Haymarket Hotel - London

The Haymarket Hotel is a luxury hotel from Regency-era London with a modern twist. It was originally designed by John Nash, George IV's favored architect, who designed Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace. With 50 rooms and suites renovated by English designer and owner Kit Kemp, the hotel is all about entertaining through art and design - from the library's daring patterns to the bold yellows and blacks of the lobby. Even the indoor pool and poolside bar feature a fiber-optic installation by artist Martin Richman.

Deluxe Design and Service

The Haymarket's rooms and suites feature colorful Regency headboards and granite and oak bathrooms, and include free WiFi and iPod docking stations. The Haymarket also has rooms for private events, such as the regal Shooting Gallery. The Brumus Bar and Restaurant serves seasonal European cuisine, and guests can take afternoon tea in the conservatory, library, or restaurant. In the Soholistic Gym, guests can pamper themselves with a beauty or massage treatments. The Haymarket caters to families, offering welcome gifts for children, children's menu (including allergy options), mini-bathrobes, and games, books, and DVDs. Cots, cribs, and highchairs are available.

London's Theater District

Next to the Haymarket Theatre Royal, the Haymarket is situated among London's finest theaters, restaurants, and bars. There is upscale shopping on Mayfair, Regent and Jermyn Streets, and the National Gallery, Buckingham Palace, and St. James Park are also nearby.
