Steeped in history, this London hotel was once the site of a royal residence. Now the epitome of contemporary elegance, the hotel is located just steps from Hyde Park and in view of Buckingham Palace. Enjoy people watching in our chic lounge or escape to our full-service spa. Savour the menu at Theo Randall’s, voted the ‘finest Italian in London’ or try Cook...
The location was in the middle of it all. If you want to go to Harrods you can walk one way, if you want to go to Pickadilly a few blocks the other way, if you want to get on a tour bus walk across the street... This hotel is in the center of what you will want to do. The doorman remembered by name and more importantly my 13 year old son's name everyday! Great hotel I will stay there every time I am in London.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. I left my luggage in storage and everyone was very friendly.

This hotel is one of my favorites. We have stayed there a number of times and will probaly always stay there when visiting London. It is convient to many places. We always have the breakfast included in our rate and love it. WE cannot say anything negative about the hotel or its staff. The TV is confusing.
I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect as it was within easy walking distance to so many sights & attractions within Soho & beyond. I was traveling as a solo female but felt very safe in the area. The staff was extremely helpful & very responsive to any requests. I stayed in one of their recently remodeled deluxe rooms which was small by American standards but very clean & efficient. I would recommend that you eat somewhere other than their in-house restaurant, however. The food was good but I felt it was overpriced compared to what you could get elsewhere. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend the hotel to others without hesitation.

Radisson Blu is a good centrally located hotel serving both vacation and business travelers. Good location near Marble Arch (Central Line) and short walk to Bond Street (Central / Jubilee) tube stations. Close to Oxford Street one of the main shopping streets in London - just behind Selfridges. Rooms are clean and a good size with the usual flat screen Tv and tea/coffee makers. Excellent buffet breakfast - all such are pricy and this might even be a bit less than normal London prices at 19 pounds each. We had lunch when we arrived and the food, wine and pleasant service were most welcome. The restaurant was usually pretty empty in the evenings but the food was well prepared if not inspired on the evening we eat in. The curry selection I had on room service one evening was really excellent. There are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance and Soho is just 2 tube stops or 15 minutes walk away. Id recommend this hotel to friends and will probably stay there again.
My wife and I randomly selected this hotel to stay for 3 days on our way back from our honeymoon in Europe, before we connected for our flight home. The location is great right off of Oxford St., but you still feel like you're in a pleasent quiet part of town with the square just outside. Our view from the room was not ideal, but the living comforts made up for that and we never really fussed post arrival. The staff was great and really made us feel special for our honeymoon. We planned to eat out at great restaurants in town but the dining downstairs proved to be good enough to keep us at the hotel many times. We are now planning another trip to Europe later this summer (2010) and we are definitely staying here again.

Location is great, right next to Paddington Station & 3 different tube lines. Staff was pretty courteous and polite, just seemed unable to help with anything a lot of the time.
They lost power on the last day of my stay causing me to oversleep and miss a meeting. Guess they slipped a notice under the door that I didn't see. More annoying though was just the lack of amenities at the price point I was paying. Not a good value for the money IMO. No mini fridge for 230+ USD a night? Entertainment was messed up too, ended up getting charged for 2 movies, neither of which I could finish because they errored out halfway through and there was no way to fast forward or resume the movies other than re-starting them and watching them again from the beginning. I called the front desk and asked about this, they ensured I wouldn't be charged, I was.

The Hotel is located about 2 miles from the city centre and located near the Paddington Train station which will give you quick access to the city and the airport , the surroundings are fine with some restaurants and small shops , not a very posh location , but its ok when it comes to saving some money by avoiding expensive hotels in some other areas in London . Its a small Hotel , dont expect an over the top lobby or anything like it , the rooms are extremely small , the beds barely fit inside , I was forced to leave my luggage inside the bathroom so it wouldnt take the small amount of space left in the room. The security safes inside the rooms dont work , so be careful with leaving valuable belongings unattended , the showers are small . The whole property incluiding the rooms have a funny smell so dont be surprised when you get to the hotel. The bellboys and some other staff seemed dirty and had a certain smell which made some of the guests uncomfortable. Many people will probably s...

I liked how it was very nice. The staff was very attentive and was quick to turn things around for me when I asked for help. Nice rooms as well and the bar had great service.
The wifi was expensive and when you check in the staff does try to upsell you on other rooms. It is a pretty good hotel for the value. This close to an Underground I would have expected to pay much more but this was absolutely perfect. I really can't think of anything functionally negative to say. I would definitely stay here again when visiting London.
The staff was attentive and friendly. Room was very clean with comfortable bedding. Location was excellent - next door to tube with stores and restaurants within steps of entrance.
Only drawback was free internet. We had to trek over to Starbucks across the street every evening to check email and FB. This is the only reason I did give a 100% overall. Internet now a days is crucial. In smart Kensington neighborhood. Tube literally across the street and only a 7 minute walk to Hyde park and 10 minute walk to Victoria and Albert museum. Room was good size with very nice bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Busy lobby so must be well known in the travel community.

Fire alarm at 5:30pm but I suppose they can't be blamed for that. Restaurant a little disapointing but bar area serving food as well very niceModern, lovely room, seriously nice staff happy to chat and interact with you. Nice bar serving good variety of food and 2-1 cocktails before 8pm.
Beautiful suite style rooms with kitchen and laundry facilities. Clean with modern decor. Great front desk staff.

The location is incredible--really, that's what you're paying for. The decor is also lovely, but not tremendously well-maintained.
The staff weren't very friendly or helpful. When we checked in, they were barely able to tell us how to get to our room (convoluted--if you stay in the 'townhouse' area of the hotel, you go up a floor, cross the hallway, then down to another floor). The setup of the hotel isn't very baggage-friendly: squeezing two average-sized suitcases and two people into the elevator put us at capacity. Thankfully we never encountered anyone with whom we had to share the lift, but it was uncomfortable and the layout of the hotel made it difficult to find our room. We got in at 10 PM, checked in, and the clerk at the desk seemed really stressed out, considering there was no one else in the lobby except for the porter. The clerk was unfriendly, seemed stressed, and wouldn't allow me to ask about the internet. In the end, I had to call ...
the location, quiet neighborhood, and charming area
Awful rooms, and the beds were so uncomfortable, I could not sleep all night. The size of the room was ridiculously small. No view. the room window looked out to an air conditioning unit. The room and furniture was ancient. The bedding was awful. The pictures of the hotel and star rating are misleading. The rooms we received were not even close to what we saw on the website. I do not understand how it got a 4 star rating!! I do not think I could ever trust the star rating ever again. I was embarrassed when our parties arrived and saw the rooms. We stayed in 5 hotels on this London trip, and we all referred to this one as 'The Dive'. I give it 1 star!
