I loved the location of this hotel. For it's location the price can't be beat!
Difficult to navigate the labyrinth of hallways and stairwells. I felt like I was in a video game the first few times I needed to find my room or way out.
Location vis a vis Paddington
The room was only slightly bigger than the bed.Old with good location but a horrible room.

This hotel is CONNECTED to Paddington Station. Step out of the lobby and catch the Heathrow Express. Great breakfast. Well worth the extra charge on the room rate.
Hotels like this one, Sheraton's, Marriott's etc. should include WiFi-Internet with the room. At the rates charged, the GBP14.95 for 24 hrs of internet is robbery.Great location. Tube (Paddington) right across the street. The #7 bus from Oxford Street and East to The British Museum stops right in front of the Hotel. Hotel is very clean, rooms are quite large by London Standards, and staff are very helpful. Not a super value, but at GBP---night it's probably worth the price.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Friendly and courteous.

Good location near the Victoria Station and a neighbourhood with some really nice pubs.
The breakfast wasn't great and the room was small.

I liked how it was very nice. The staff was very attentive and was quick to turn things around for me when I asked for help. Nice rooms as well and the bar had great service.
The wifi was expensive and when you check in the staff does try to upsell you on other rooms. It is a pretty good hotel for the value. This close to an Underground I would have expected to pay much more but this was absolutely perfect. I really can't think of anything functionally negative to say. I would definitely stay here again when visiting London.
The staff was attentive and friendly. Room was very clean with comfortable bedding. Location was excellent - next door to tube with stores and restaurants within steps of entrance.
Only drawback was free internet. We had to trek over to Starbucks across the street every evening to check email and FB. This is the only reason I did give a 100% overall. Internet now a days is crucial. In smart Kensington neighborhood. Tube literally across the street and only a 7 minute walk to Hyde park and 10 minute walk to Victoria and Albert museum. Room was good size with very nice bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Busy lobby so must be well known in the travel community.

Not enough outlets in the room.Solid location; convenient to many things and got a great deal of --- GBP per night.

Radisson Blu is a good centrally located hotel serving both vacation and business travelers. Good location near Marble Arch (Central Line) and short walk to Bond Street (Central / Jubilee) tube stations. Close to Oxford Street one of the main shopping streets in London - just behind Selfridges. Rooms are clean and a good size with the usual flat screen Tv and tea/coffee makers. Excellent buffet breakfast - all such are pricy and this might even be a bit less than normal London prices at 19 pounds each. We had lunch when we arrived and the food, wine and pleasant service were most welcome. The restaurant was usually pretty empty in the evenings but the food was well prepared if not inspired on the evening we eat in. The curry selection I had on room service one evening was really excellent. There are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance and Soho is just 2 tube stops or 15 minutes walk away. Id recommend this hotel to friends and will probably stay there again.
My wife and I randomly selected this hotel to stay for 3 days on our way back from our honeymoon in Europe, before we connected for our flight home. The location is great right off of Oxford St., but you still feel like you're in a pleasent quiet part of town with the square just outside. Our view from the room was not ideal, but the living comforts made up for that and we never really fussed post arrival. The staff was great and really made us feel special for our honeymoon. We planned to eat out at great restaurants in town but the dining downstairs proved to be good enough to keep us at the hotel many times. We are now planning another trip to Europe later this summer (2010) and we are definitely staying here again.

Bed was a single bed! No air-con. Light went on and off. Lights from the hallway came through the door. Made the room light up at night. Windows had no protection, and I would not open teh window if I had a baby in the room.Stay away from this hotel. This hotel deserves 1 star, NOT 4 stars. Double-bed was in fact a single bed! Had to pay GBP 80 for upgrade to a room with standard double-bed. The room was not clean. Garbage + clothes from previous guests found under the bed. No air-con made the room extremely hot.Lights from the hallway visible through the door.

It was close to St. Pancreas Station.
Far from other sights.
There are not many redeeming qualities about this hotel. I did find the bathroom sufficient and the shower was certainly nice.
The lobby carpet and couches were shabby and spotted. That should have been a good indicator of the room maintenance. The rooms were small, but to be expected in London. The carpet in the room was spotted. I always kept my socks on.There were smudges on the white walls. Although there was a clear ¿no smoking¿ sign on the desk, the previous occupant clearly smoked. The pillows reeked of it. The room also had a strange odor. It reminded me of kitty litter, although I never found the source of the smell. I was directly over the neighboring restaurants exhaust, which periodically spewed unpleasant odors into my room. When checking in, I was told there was complimentary water in the room. Indeed, there was an unsealed bottle of water. When I examined the bottle, there was a clear milky build up around the rim. It...

The location is incredible--really, that's what you're paying for. The decor is also lovely, but not tremendously well-maintained.
The staff weren't very friendly or helpful. When we checked in, they were barely able to tell us how to get to our room (convoluted--if you stay in the 'townhouse' area of the hotel, you go up a floor, cross the hallway, then down to another floor). The setup of the hotel isn't very baggage-friendly: squeezing two average-sized suitcases and two people into the elevator put us at capacity. Thankfully we never encountered anyone with whom we had to share the lift, but it was uncomfortable and the layout of the hotel made it difficult to find our room. We got in at 10 PM, checked in, and the clerk at the desk seemed really stressed out, considering there was no one else in the lobby except for the porter. The clerk was unfriendly, seemed stressed, and wouldn't allow me to ask about the internet. In the end, I had to call ...
the location, quiet neighborhood, and charming area
Awful rooms, and the beds were so uncomfortable, I could not sleep all night. The size of the room was ridiculously small. No view. the room window looked out to an air conditioning unit. The room and furniture was ancient. The bedding was awful. The pictures of the hotel and star rating are misleading. The rooms we received were not even close to what we saw on the website. I do not understand how it got a 4 star rating!! I do not think I could ever trust the star rating ever again. I was embarrassed when our parties arrived and saw the rooms. We stayed in 5 hotels on this London trip, and we all referred to this one as 'The Dive'. I give it 1 star!

Beautiful pool and spa. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the hotel had a perfect location.
The rooms were a bit dated, but still clean and comfortable.
Location near Picadilly.
Lack of personal attention. While there, two of the three elevators were broken. When checking in, was first assigned to a room that had a view of the heating and air conditioning system. Received a better room -- but smaller, and still had a restricted view of the street.

The location of the hotel was excellent as it was right next to a tube station for easy transport.
There were no curtains so light came through the blinds at all hours. The clerk at the desk tried to charge us for the room even though priceline had already charged us. Fortunately, we were able to get that amount reimbursed before departure. The room was small, but was a good price for being in Zone 1 and right next to a tube station. This made getting around London a breeze. Breakfast was included and was pretty good for a continental breakfast. We would probably stay here again, but watch out for double charging. WiFi was only available in the lobby.
Very tiny room and somewhat unfriendly staff.Room is very tiny but great location.
