The location is incredible--really, that's what you're paying for. The decor is also lovely, but not tremendously well-maintained.
The staff weren't very friendly or helpful. When we checked in, they were barely able to tell us how to get to our room (convoluted--if you stay in the 'townhouse' area of the hotel, you go up a floor, cross the hallway, then down to another floor). The setup of the hotel isn't very baggage-friendly: squeezing two average-sized suitcases and two people into the elevator put us at capacity. Thankfully we never encountered anyone with whom we had to share the lift, but it was uncomfortable and the layout of the hotel made it difficult to find our room. We got in at 10 PM, checked in, and the clerk at the desk seemed really stressed out, considering there was no one else in the lobby except for the porter. The clerk was unfriendly, seemed stressed, and wouldn't allow me to ask about the internet. In the end, I had to call ...
the location, quiet neighborhood, and charming area
Awful rooms, and the beds were so uncomfortable, I could not sleep all night. The size of the room was ridiculously small. No view. the room window looked out to an air conditioning unit. The room and furniture was ancient. The bedding was awful. The pictures of the hotel and star rating are misleading. The rooms we received were not even close to what we saw on the website. I do not understand how it got a 4 star rating!! I do not think I could ever trust the star rating ever again. I was embarrassed when our parties arrived and saw the rooms. We stayed in 5 hotels on this London trip, and we all referred to this one as 'The Dive'. I give it 1 star!

friendly helpful staff
beds were extremely small and uncomfortable. lighting was poor. if this is a business hotel it should have a power outlet near the bed.wish it was closer to a tube stop. the closest is Kensington Olympia which has a very minimal schedule. otherwise is a 15 to 20 minute walk to catch the tube.
Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Gym was small but acceptable.
The location was very difficult since it was neither on nor close to any major subway lines. It was close to an overland rail line but these run less frequently and require two transfers to either the District or Circle line.Generally this was at the lower end of Hilton quality. Some weird things like the hallways had stairs in them (which would be an issue with heavier bags). Staff was very helpful (particularly as compared to other Hiltons). Smallish but acceptable gym. Location is far from any tube stop (15 minutes walk to either Earls Court or Kensington High Street).

The location of this hotel is superb with many sights within short walking distance and the Southwark tube station half a mile away. The hotel also has free WiFi.
The rooms are very small. Just enough room for the bed and desk. Our checked bags left a narrow gap for us to sneak by and out the door.

Location is easy access to Paddington.
The service was horrible at the front desk upon check in. Our reservation was cancelled without notice and the hotel refused to honor it (even though they admitted they had rooms). We found another reasonable hotel where the service was exceptional. Avoid this place!

Location is perfect if you are going to the O2 arena and westfield shopping mall
They had one receptionist who was not very service minded. Still all the others where very nice.Clean, nice hotel which offers the basics and an excellent location when you are going to the O2 arena. 1 stop with the tube.

The location was good, a little over one block from the subway stop. To be honest the British breakfast was really terrible, unless you really like bangers. But the scandinavian breakfast was fine, the rooms were good, close to restaurants and shopping areas.
This is a Swedish Hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet and a convenient location. The staff is friendly and willing to please. The rooms are small but adequate.

Quite good location if you use paddington station. All necessary amenities are equipped.
The hotel seems so pretty dark everywhere. It was okay but bit down mood and staff. If you stay short, that won't be the problem but if you stay long, should consider thisLocated in quite new district but not super easy to find the location for the girst time visitor.
Location if you need to sleep near Paddington, or are in the corporate office area that the hotel is in
Room size a bit small, but that's the design world wideRequest a room away from the Paddington tracks. They have done a good job with sound deadening.

Lovely room. Clean and contemporary with comfortable beds
The staff weren't as attentive as I would've liked
Good space for three people
Staff didn't much about London entertainment. They don't have concierge staff available to assis you. Needs improvement to help tourists get to know the city.

The hotel was the best thing about the whole trip (and the trip was awesome). The hotel is very nice, comparable to some of the best hotels I've stayed in in the US, and the location is fantastic for all things London. The price was amazingly good too.
No. Nothing at all.Great location. A lot of excellent restaurants, etc. right by it. Only a block to the underground station. The hotel is new, clean and relatively luxurious, especially compared to every other hotel I've ever stayed in in London. The price was very reasonable.
Overall it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way possible. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The location does provide you within walking distance to some shopping and restaurant options.
I would have liked to possibly have on-site access to an ATM, a vending machine, or a small shop or boutique for some miscellaneous purchases. Also, I would have liked to have more outlets in the bathroom or a more functional vanity area.

The location and overall the room was clean. Also breakfast is quite affordable a 10£ (for London standards).
The size of the room is pathetically small and looks very tired, dark and gloomy. Comfort of mattress poor. Only one elevator serving the whole hotel, really insufficient. To hold your luggage they charge 5£, first time in my life I get charged for that... WiFi worked very poorly with disconnections and very poor bandwith. I cannot recommend it if having a reliable internet connection is something you are counting on.
