Not enough light in the room. Nice table to sit at and read or play a game but you won't be able to see. I told the manager (friendly fellow) that my cable was out and the entry light was burned out and he fixed one of the two. It's so dark in there I needed a flashlight to operate the microwave. First motel I've stayed at with no carpet. Nice hi def tv but low def cable service so it's a fuzzy picture. Soap dispensers in shower and lav but I prefer a good old bar of soap. Other than that, a great place to stay for the money.
I have nothing good to say about this hotel.
The first room had no heat. It was pouring rain and cold. The gal from the front desk tried for about 20 mins. to get the heat to work, then moved us to another room. We had come for the night razor clam tide. After they moved us to another room we left for the beach to dig for clams. After 3 hours on the beach we came back to our room to shower and get warm. My friend said come look at this, and on the pillow was a bed bug. We pulled up the mattress and found a few scattering. We packed our things, called the front desk and the manager wouldn't let us in the lobby area. When the manager finally opened the door he was so confrontational about the situation and said there are no bed bugs. We had one in a zip lock bag and pictures, he yelled get out of my hotel! Challenging us, said to get off his property! and was not going to give us a refund, OR let us get our bags out of the room. We had to call 911. The officers told him if he didn't let us get our things he would be charged with theft. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
