Quite close to subway. Only 1 minute walk. The subway could reach many famous location without line change, like Timesquare
The room is too small. The air conditioner is not good enough. It is cold in room during the Winter
Great location. Close to trains. Only two stops to manhattan. Reasonably priced.
You could tell it was an old building. They try to distract you with modern/fun decor and textiles but it was hard to miss the patches on the walls and slow drains . Bed was on a cheap plywood bed frame that felt like I was going to fall through.Breakfast was just bagels, cereal and yogurt. Best thing about the stay was the location. Only one and a half blocks to subway and a third the price if you stayed in a similar hotel in manhattan. Neighborhood felt safe and very quiet. Just don't expect luxury.
The room was very unique! Pretty and modern and very clean. Very friendly desk staff, printed my bus tickets for me when I lost my cell phone in a taxi.
The single elevator was kind of slow. Subway was close but it still took 20-30 minutes to get any where I needed to go in the city.I'm sure the private balcony would have been really nice if it weren't 20 degrees outside when I stayed!
Convenient to subway station. The rooms were clean and surprising spacious with comfortable beds. Hotel staff was very friendly.
While the hotel was located very convenient to the 39th St station, the sidewalks in the area roll up after 9 or 10. If you like that, its the perfect location..if you don't want that, this is the wrong area.
Great view nice bed with working heating
Does have a big bar but it's so close to the city that didn't matterGreat staff
One block away from the subway station for half the price it would be to stay in Manhattan. Parking offered across the street for a reasonable price
Small stains on the bedding and not enough towels given daily.Best vaule and so easy to get to manhattan
Terrible customer service, dirty rooms, I hope I didn't bring any bed bugs back! Complaint to them many time, but the font desk staff did not seem to care. Never again. Would not recommend this to anyone.
Would have liked more electrical outlets for computer and to charge cell phonesGreat staff, good location
The room was a good size The décor was nice. I t had a nice little balcony.
Took a shower around 7 AM and there was no hot water. There was no hot water the night before when I washed up either.Having stayed in most of the hotels in the area I would probably not stay again. There were no nightstand with lamps, so if I wanted to stay up and read in bed I could not. Also there was an issue with the water. I had no hot water at 10 PM and no hot water in the morning at 7AM. The person at the desk said they turned the boiler on and it hadn't reached my floor yet. Poor excuse!
