Closeness of the hotel to the metro system for transporting to Manhatten.
Rooms could be more sound proofed because of the close proximity to the metro system. Although it was a double room, it was not a double wardrobe for hanging space.
The benefits of the Hotel are Cost, Comfort, Cleanliness and Connections to Manhattan via N&W lines from 39th Street and JFK via the E line from Queensboro. Also only $15-$20 from downtown in a cab. The area is industrial and first impression are not good but as you spend no time there it's not a problem.
It would have been nice if the curtains closed rather than being just a decorative feature. The black out blinds are o.k but didn't block out all the light and it would have been much better if you could fully close the curtains as well.
Wifi and TV
Breakfast and sound of the icemaker in front of our room.
Over all, Much better than I anticipated from reading reviews. Excellant service, breakfast, cleanliness, and I'd always go there in future.
The room was large enough, clean and comfortable. Very good quality room for the money. The hotel is very close to the Metro 3 minute walk, from the Metro it only takes 10 minutes to Manhatton.
