The rooms were surprisingly updated. New floors, furniture, shower, TV. Loved the dark wood floors!!! I also love that there was free parking. That's not very easy to come by in LA!
The hotel is a make-shift hotel. Meaning that it looked like a regular apartment building redesigned to become a hotel. It was missing a lot of amenities such as room service, an ice machine & hair dryer.
It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking good (during the week).
No breakfast. Water was not good. Bottled water should be furnished in every room to make coffee. TV channels available left much to be desired.
Close to Korean twon
The room is not clean and smell bad
location, residential area, minimilist decor, large, tiled bath
noa pedestrian friendly neighborhood, safe at night, close to downtown attractions, quiet, well-appointed rooms, free parking
The room was very nice and up to date. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Let us check in early.
The only thing I did not like was that the gate to get inside the hotel closed at 11PM. You have to call a number for someone to let you in. When I did call however, the gate was opened right away.I was a little hesitant about booking this room at first since there was not that many reviews. However, this hotel was extremely close to the concert venue I was attending at The Wiltern so I booked it. I absolutely loved our room! We had dark wood floors, very comfortable king size bed with a beautiful headboard. Bathroom was very moderate and up to date as well.Furniture in room was nice. Room felt very comfortable and clean. However, when you first arrive it feels like you are at an older apartment complex, but once we walked into our room I absolutely loved it. I would definately stay here again.
It is in downtown, close to universal studio. In Korea area clean and quiet.
The stuffs are not so helpful.
Staff was nice. and room is big enough to spread the stuffs. and clean. it is near train station. many spas in neighbors.
sound of the foot steps on upper level.
The bed was soft and the staff was nice.
The furniture and walls had seen better days and there was a stain on the bathtube. But, nothing seemed dirty, just beaten up or a little tired. I felt safe and like it was clean.
the hotel location is great when you don't have car in LA .. There are two metro station very very close(less then 3min walk purple lane, red lane is about 10) and important buss lines stops there too (line for santa monica..) Quite area, polite staff
Maybe 1 little objection : there is no safe in hotel so you need to keep your values with you(but there is room under key where you can leave some stuff)The hotel is pet friendly but at night you don't have any noise , also the neighborhood is so quite . Every day the maid will clean your trashcan also she will make your bad and clean bathroom (change towels , etc). The biggest plus for this hotel is connection with bus and metro lanes .. Its a really good quality for 2 stars hotel and the price is great too..
