Occupying a central position, 3km from the railway station and three minutes from the sanctuaries, the Hotel Mercure Lourdes Imperial is easily accessed from Tarbes airport and the A63 motorway. Set alongside the river Gave, the 1940s style hotel has 40 comfortable, well-equipped rooms for a restful stay whether for business or leisure. After a day's meetings or sightseeing, come and relax in the saloon bar, or try a speciality from our restaurant.
Staff are fantastic, very helpful and always willing to help out at all costs.
Food is "too good". Let me explain, whilst the food (main menu options) are super they are too much 'nouvelle cuisine'. It would be great if the hotel could serve a more 'rustic' menu offering typical local cuisine. I prefer 'normal' down to earth dishes rather than top of the range items.
All was satisfactory, but the breakfast options were expensive, so we ate at a cafe over the road.
The convenience of its position in Lourdes. The staff were all charming and helpful
The resaraunt was pretentious and overpriced
The restaurant service was good but the food below expectations
close to the Grotte, just walking distance
