The location was good. Lots of plugs to recharge our IPads, Iphones and computers. The WIFI was good also.
The air-conditioning was a little bit loud. The rack to put the suitcase was not in a good spot we had to move chairs and rack to accommodate the suitcases. Also We don't like having a sink in the room. We prefer it in the bathroom itself.
Great breakfast and friendly staff!
The key card does not work at this hotel. We had to switch 3 rooms to find the one that would open with key card.
Clean, very helpful staff, kid friendly
Odd building layout, must've flipped the original front entrance when remodeling.
Nice, clean, very friendly Staff, good Continental breakfast
Nice hotel. Nice staff. Would definitely go back.
excellent breakfast. Very clean. very comfortable beds.
Hot tub (spa) was a little too warm. No refrigerator in room (for insulin, pop).
The room had a HORRIBLE smell.... I told the Man @ the front desk when we checked out, but I don't feel he cared at all... We didn't care for the (Salt-water) in the Pool...
Staff was really good. Breakfast was ready even earlier than required. Pool area was outstanding.
No microwave in our room OR in breakfast area.
The pool area was nice.
Rooms weren't as big,as most.
We really enjoyed having this motel located near Lake Michigan. Since the trip was short we were able to enjoy a beautiful evening waking the pier and watching the sun set.
Hotel was close to the SS Badger. They had a good variety of food for the free breakfast. The staff was friendly.
Crazy expensive for the star rating/quality. Room smelled damp. They tried to get me to rent a second room because I have four children under the age of seven (not sure if this is their policy or some sort of law/rule in Michigan).
Staff was professional, friendly and accommodating.
The room smelled a little off.
The pool area was like a resort! Beautiful!
The room we stayed in was a handicapped shower we did not ask for. The shower leaked a bit and got the bathroom pretty wet.
nice room, clean and quiet
The pillows were horrible. We had eight pillows in our room and everyone was way too thick and way too hard. I didn't sleep all night. I asked at the front desk for a softer or less stuffed pillow which they didn't have. What kind of hotel expects you
the continental breakfast
I believe we were the given the last room cleaned which was at 445. we ckd at 130 and told please to come back later, how eveer the guy in front of me was given his room key. Then at 400 pm we tried again but told to come back yet again priceline is last.
Ludington is a beautiful lakeside town. We like to spend lots of time outdoors when we visit. We have stayed a couple of times at the Holiday Inn Express and will return again. The staff is friendly, the building is spotless, and the breakfast is tasty. The servers for the breakfast buffet are friendly and helpful. Even though it is not by the water, it is easily accessible to all places of interest.
Clean, all indoor halls and a decent Pool and Hot Tub. Rather expensive in season if you do not plan ahead to take advantage of any discounts.
Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. We were in town from Port Huron for a baby shower held at the hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool was a little cold. The rooms were clean and well stocked with towels, the free breakfast was outstanding. We would stay again.
This holiday inn express I found in good physical condition but there must be something wrong in their cleaning dept or management. The rooms were not as clean as the Holiday Inn standard. The staff was OK. The price was cheaper than BW and other hotels in town so I chose it, but not worth staying next time.
Mary Jo and I had not been to Ludington in 20 years...shame on us! What a wonderful area! The beaches and parks are top notch! Our Golden retriever ''Dolly'' went with us. The Holiday Inn Express staff gave her a ''treat bag' with goodies and a tennis ball. All weekend we had to ''play ball'' with her. Plus...she loved the elevator! The continental breakfast area was great. The lady on duty made sure we had enough to eat and were satisfied. There is a nice walk area out back for pets also. BTW The room was very clean! Relax and enjoy Michigan!
I found a dirty underwear in the bed and when I tried to tell that to the manager, he wouldn't believe me and thought I was just trying to get discount. Will never return again. '
After a long day of hiking the trails at the State Park (about 10-12 miles away), it was great to crawl into the jacuzzi tub/pool in our room - requested. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a great variety. Also, after hanging out at the beach down the road for part of the day, comming back to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies was a nice perk.
I just wanted to let you all know that the hotel is very good but the service was bad. The staff is very rude when I tried to get some extra items at the desk. When I tried to tell that to manager in the morning, he was worse than his staff.
