I reserved a luxury car (Cadillac or similar). On arrival I was told there were no luxury cars.I was offered a VW SUV instead. Not exactly a luxury car, or even similar. I was given no explanantion. The rate was adjusted, at least.Cons:

Nothing. After waiting two hours after my appointment for them to clean the car, they denied to release the vehicle to me because I didn’t have a credit card. I offered my debit card but they wouldn’t accept it. I offered to have my mom sign a form and use her credit card Hertz said no.Cons:
I was charged $88 for a service I was not provided. I am trying to get the money refunded. They did not allow me to rent the car but charged me anyhow.4.4 Mediocre

Staff at pickup were fairly pleasant but did not care that I was frustrated that my car size was not available although it said it was online. I was not happy that I had to pay for an upgrade. She told me that I can't rely on the 3rd party vendors like KayakCons:
The staff at the drop off were very nice folks. The pickup location... not so much. When I reserved the car on Kayak I reserved an economy sized car or whichever the smallest one is.
