Location was central for my needs
Sign said 'non smoking hotel', but the smell of cigarette remains in the lobby and in the hallways. Rooms not very soundproof, lots of noise from the road and parking lot. Parking lot had assorted papers and drink containers that needed to be picked up.
Staff was very helpful. Hotel employee was the best.
Nice rooms with comfortable bed and good kitchenette.
All items for the kitchenette were located at the front desk--very inconvenient. We were also surprised that clean towels had to be retrieved from the front desk and rooms were not cleaned each day.
The best part of this hotel was the location. It was right across the street from a Chik-Fil-A. Very close to a shopping center and the Alderwood Mall was about a 3 minute drive away. The room was clean. It was very quiet.
The bathroom was horrible. It was super tiny and the location of the toilet was horrible.
Clean, Quiet, and very friendly and helpful staff
They allowed my dog...very nice room.
The walls were pretty thin or my neighbor snored REALLY loudly! Don't understand why room wasn't stocked with coffee mugs and coffee maker...apparently you can ask for things, but some things should be basic
Nothing really. No gym, no pool, washing and dryer available but soap dispenser did not work, Continental breakfast was sad with snack bars and Costco packed muffins. One office attendant running around doing everything. Room is very dated.
Close to freeway and restaurants.
The room deco looked relatively modern and updated. The layout of the room was neat. One of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast experience was lousy - grab and go breakfast was suppose to be 6am to 9.30am, but at 8am there was nothing available. They ran out of cups so they kept everything! Walls of the room are thin and we could hear all the noise from the corridor.
The hotel says non smoking but it always smelled of cigarettes in the common areas of the hotel. There was no hairdryer in the room.
They had NONE of the amenities stated that we needed for little people. To stay an extra night they quoted me one price and charged more. Won't stay again
Very slow internet with petty request for more money to upgrade to the 'blazing' seed of 2 Mb/sec. Just embarrassingly cheap. This alone will dictate that I never go here again.
I liked having a full size fridge in the room. I also was able to upgrade to a room with 2 beds which was very helpful since the reason for the stay was because my adult son had surgery and was much more comfortable after surgery with his own bed.
I tend to get up early and there wasn't any place to go and sit check emails, drink coffee so I didn't wake my son. Also, the rooms didn't smell very good. Our second room definitely smelled of cigarette.
This is the only hotel I have ever seen that tells you, they only clean the rooms weekly. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast, they called it grab and go. We were there 2 days and ahe 2nd day they only had a couple of muffins leftover from the previous
Friendly and helpful receptionists, location, and housekeepers/staff that don't come knocking at your door early in the morning to bother you
The kitchen drain in a lot of the rooms were clogged.
This hotel is excellent, the staff are amazing and go out of their way to assist customers!
Nothing, all good.
It was not difficult to locate, it was clean and comfortable, and, as a plus, it was just a ways down the same street from the church where my nephew's wedding was held, which was the reason we had traveled up there. Thank you.
Not being able to remain longer.
Just staff was rude
Good location, easy to find and close to shopping.
Old bedding and towel.
The location is right off the freeway and across from Whole Foods Market. It's very close to the Alderwood Mall.
I asked for extra blankets and the front desk staff said there is no more. There was 30 seconds of silence then she said when she finishes the laundry I can come back and get one. (1am)
Location was great, in the middle of all the outlets and a couple mins from Alderwood mall.
Smelled like smoke once I walked in the room and it was a smoke-free room, counters were dirty with grease when we walked in, the water when showering was only warm and would not go any hotter and there were no face cloths, only 3 big towels.
There were no breakfast choices for diabetics.
The faucet in bathroom fell off when I turned it on! Unpleasant smell in hallways.
It seemed more like a old school college dorm.
Kitchen, fridge size
Kitchen...tv...to go breakfast. ..
Seeing Police activity outside hotel as soon as we got there...
Location and price
The customer service was worse than a cheap motel. If I needed something from the front desk I was told I had to come get it. They weren't going to deliver anything even though all of their advertising in andon't around the room said otherwise. And rude!!
Loved the location, staff was nice n it was clean.
Shower head was broke, no ice machine n no continental breakfast.
the hotel was convenient to where we needed to be, it had overall cleanliness but there was a lingering scent of tobacco smoke in the main lobby area. the room was adequate and clean, but very sparse.
The air conditioning fan unit in room only came on when temperatures dictated it needed to. The fan would not run continuously to aide in white noise abatement. the queen size bed, was more the size of a double and the room had a slight smell of smoke.
The location is very convenient
The service from Sam was very horrible. I had bought a bunch of groceries for dinner after work, asked Sam for pots and pans to cook my food, she said she didn't have anymore and didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. Had to order pizza
Cont of dislike: wouldn't shut off, had to change rooms, not even a glass in room, no bedding for sofa bed, told had to wait til done washing. So many trips to front desk, just to get a substandard room. No crib for newborn
Was advertised as a bedroom, with a sofa bed, only half wall, even when told clerk that it was last night for couple to be together for a year, and that I had come also to help with baby, wouldn't give us 2 rooms or refund $. Was pee in toilet. Shower
Easy check in easy too work with
They don't give enough maid service
Parking was abundant and the room was clean. There was a friendly staff.
The bathroom facility was poor with very little amenities. No bathmat and no hair dryer or outlet. The continental breakfast was measly and unappealing.
Central location and easy freeway access
Breakfast could have been better
No dishes was supply for the kitchen, no cups in the room . No coff maker
You had to go down to front desk if you needed toilet paper, a cup, etc. this was the most ghetto hotel I have ever stayed at!
The room walls were so thin that I could hear the person next to me snoring and I was not able to sleep. The front desk was not able to move me to a different room.
The room was clean. The faux leather and walnut furniture was nice to look at, if you like that kind of thing. Which is the best I can say for this place.
Where to begin... Lots of pot smokers making the place smell like a skunk; all the water went out for 3 hours one morning, nixing a shower; bad customer service from staff. Those are the worst problems. Motel 6 has better accommodations.
Dirty and smoky although it was supposed to be a non smoking hotel.
The room was nice and clean an I liked that it had a nice kitchen area
The smoking area was right at the front door and you had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in and out.
location was great.
Got a room that did not lock. Could just push open. No water filter on tap. Stove burner did not work, couldn't boil water to drink. Building did not have any vending machine. No mini fridge with water. Had to go out to buy water at a gas station nearby.
Not very pleased at all. The reservation for was two nights, i paid in advance. I work three jobs and got off late and missed my check in. The reservation was canceled and they wouldn't just honor it for another date, refund, or discount. Very unethical!
Lighting in the room was poor. We could see the laundry room, (stacks of dirty? laundry) as we were checking in. Check in was long & drawn out. Carpet was gross in the room and in the public areas/stairwell. Tub did not drain.
It was conveniently located near Interstate 5, with many restaurants and stores nearby.
The furniture in the room was badly scratched. A light over the stove didn't work. The toilet had to be flushed twice, and the bathroom sink had extra-high pressure. Cigarette butts littered a roof visible from our room. Desk had run out of shampoo.
There were 2 beds, a flushing toilet, hot water, and kitchenette. The windows could be opened to air the room out! There was a roof over our heads!
EVERYTHING needed a more thorough cleaning. Curtains stained and box spring cover had a blood spot on it. Bathroom vent needed to be vacumed. Night stand, dresser, table, & chairs shabby. The hotel felt dirty and smelled musty and of cigarette smoke.
no wine bottle opener at front desk, place is dirty. They also put is in a smoking room because we ordered through priceline and would not move us.
The service was horrible and they placed us in a smoking room which smelled disgusting. The shower barely worked and to top it off our toilet was clogged and no one even came up to fix it until I went down to the desk at midnight.
The location and the price
The breakfast and cofe were so few in comparison to number of people in the hotel. The staff were rude sometimes. The room keys stopped working many times, which is wast of time to go back to the reception to fix it.
This was the first time we stayed at an Extended Stay. i found it hard to get in and out of but it was so close to many things we needed. If we needed to stay at a hotel again, i would recommend this hotel. Customer service was great - she printed out my early boarding pass for my airlines for me too!!
Everyone we encountered at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.
The room was nice it was clean and in order. There was only a smal pot there to cook with it was a good thing I brought some cookware. The only real problem we had was the hard beds, they were very ard and uncomfortable. Othe than that it was a nice place.
Our stay at the ESA in Lynnwood/Alderwood went very well. The staff was excellent and the room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. We did need to get a package of coffee from the front desk because there was none in the room, but that was a very minor issue. I would rate our overall stay as perfect! It is in an excellent location when you intend to shop and use the Alderwood Mall area.
Ease of finding the hotel was good. Check in was friendly. Room keys are hard to use and did not have room number on them. But most importantly their was no hair dryer, no coffee or coffee filters (and the front desk did not have any) however their was a coffee maker in room and finally the bed was as hard as a rock. We will never stay their again.
