The location was phenomenal especially if one had a lakefront room. The gardens and yards were very nice.
I was not provided with the room that I requested and for which I had contacted the hotel after booking online. They gave me an accessible king room at that time. Upon arrival I was given a room with double beds and 'it's what you paid for'.
Great location and free parking.
All through my 3 day stay the internet did not work. Also, I have a dust allergy and my room and the hallways were full of it. The curtains also heavy with dust. Every time I turned on the air-conditioner the dust was stirred up. So watery eyes for me !
Close to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Breakfast. Pool.
Mattresses. We have a much nicer one at home. Didn't sleep well. Bathroom fan didn't work all that well
Location was good and the general ambience was nice.
We arrived around 9:00 PM and our room was not yet cleaned and ready. We waited in the lounge for over an hour. Additionally, we had the included breakfast the next morning and there was very little staff to replenish the food items.
Housekeepers never cleaned room. Complained about other workers. Front desk worker smoking in front of building. Bar has horrible selection. Complained about workers as well. A clear lack of management in this hotel. Very unprofessional, and lazy.
Location, cleanliness and staffs efforts to please.
Friendly staff. Nice breakfast, Asked to have rooms on third floor with view and quiet and hotel accommodated request
Lobby furniture was a bit shabby and the rooms could use some up dating
the ability to over look the pool via a balcony accessible from a sliding glass door at the back of our room
The room temp and humidity was high on the pool balcony rooms
Clean, comfortable room in a great downtown location. Next door to the Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit.
Breakfast is so-so with premade omelets etc. but okay when you consider that it's part of the price.
The location on the lake.
Older hotel with a few updates, not exactly what I was expecting.
The location is very nice and the pool being heated in the winter is a real plus.
We have been to the hotel 3 times in the last 3 months; each time there has been something broken or non-functioning in the room.
Great breakfast. Nice pool area. Great staff. This hotel is very clean.
Terrible tv reception. Comcast is terrible. Very dated furnishings. I understand there is a new owner hopefully he will update.
Great pool area. Nice breakfast. Great staff.
Terrible television reception.
Very friendly staff, nice location, very nice facilities for breakfast
parking lot was icy, but with subzero temperatures everything in town was icy as well
Nice facilities, pool/sauna/whirlpool
Being pre-charged for 'incidentals'; A large group monopolized the pool area most of the evening.
The lakefront being so close was very nice.
The key cards would only work in our room door, so we could only get into the main door, and the pool access was limited to the lobby entrance as well.
Very dated. Needs to be remodeled
Everything seemed so worn. Bed covers very old
Musty smell in my room & moldy smell in bathroom
Good location. We walked along lake the next morning - good setting for hotel.
Older hotel. Would rate it a 2 1/2 star instead of 3.
View of Lake Michigan and close to Green Bay
Very very outdated and needs updating! Front desk staff not very welcoming.
The hotel was on Lake Michigan. The museum was within walking distance and it was next to the YMCA, free admit and surrounded by a nice path to walk and run...also bike friendly! The staff was very pleasant.
The carpet was old, felt sticky. The bathrooms were small, but at least had a fan. We had a lake view room but the windows were dirty with spider webs.
The staff members were incredibly friendly. Every single one we met had a smile on their face and were very welcoming. Also, the location can't be beat. It is right on the lake, next to an awesome museum, and within walking distance of great restaurants.
The decor is incredibly dated. There were cleanliness issues in many areas, both in the rooms and in common areas. The Internet did not work in the room and only worked in the lobby. The free breakfast was positively dismal.
Could not get a room til 5:15 PM!
