Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub area and work out area. Clean entry and main levels, and efficient front desk staff.
Urine on toilet base, ripped old comforter and piece of old food on carpet by bed. Also, staff struggled to keep up with demand for food for breakfast.
Good location. Friendly staff.
Staff couldn't keep up with breakfast. So many people eating that food ran out several times.
I was able to check in early.
It was not in the best location. Leaving the hotel you have only a right turn and have to u-turn to get back to town.
The location and the restaurant that was link to the hotel.
The 1st room I had wasn't cleaned from the last person that stay in the room.
Room was extremely small for a double queen room. Pool was also very very small.
Staff very nice and helpful.
They didn't have a recliner for me to sleep in.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Good free breakfast. Staff were friendly.
It was a little off the beaten path.
Pretty nice motel for the price was somewhat close to a lot of shopping and dining.
I didn't like that you could not turn left when leaving the motel
Connected to Axel's Bonfire Grill. Nice breakfast options. Our room was spacious and very nice. The business area was very nice as was the workout center. Fresh cookies are always awesome!
Very small pool. Bathroom fan & drain did not work well:(. A party with beer cans all over swimming pool area.
I think we were charged to much for four nights in a small town like Mancato Minnesota.
tea and coffee out with cookies. quiet relaxing time
The breakfast was great. Bottle water in room was lovely to have. Wi-fi was extremely easy to connect to and worked great. Elliptical machine worked well. Front desk staff friendly.
Room was musty and towels smelled like cigarettes.
Clean rooms, nice staff, good breakfast, overall good experience.
the pool was fun to hang out at.The hotel is great...close to mall and olive garden. We hung out in the foyer of the hotel with relatives who meant us there. They gave us a free drink at the Bonfire grill. Room was very clean!
The staff was very nice! The motel was full and was very quiet. The pool was smaller than shown but was good for us. Hot tub was nice and hot. Breakfast was the best lots of items and kept filled. Very impressive! Cookies in lobby!!
My son goes to college at MSU so we visit from time to time and have stayed at a few hotels in the area now but do not spend a ton of time at the hotel. Our stay was very good. Staff was friendly, room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was better than many with plenty of choices. The downside is the smoking area is in the front of the hotel so you have to walk past/through the smoke/smell when you come in (seems to be the case at most) and the sheets don't fit the mattress so they kept coming off (strange I know but I don't like waking up on the mattress - not that it was dirty from what I could see but I don't care for it, I guess I like a well made bed :) The noise from other guests in the evening & morning...the slamming of the door and kids running in the hall (more of a parenting issue than hotel). Would likely stay again.
Just wanted to give a shout out to the Country Inn & Suites for a great stay. I came into town for business and was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast and amienties. Staff was friendly and responsive to needs (I forgot my toothbrush and several personal care items).
My husband, daughter and I decided to get out of town for the weekend and do some shopping. I have a friend nearby Mankato so we stayed there. I picked the Country Inn because I had stayed at one before in another city and they had some of the ameneties we really like such a a fridge in the room and a pool/jacuzzi. It was more than I really wanted to pay for each night but I figured it was worth it for the peace of mind. That is until the first night we tried to sleep... we could hear kids running up and down the hall and even blaring thier TV well into the morning hours. By the second day I was beat and tried to go to bed early at 10pm and I was up until 2am because some of our neighbors were celebrating a birthday party. When I checked in I was advised to be quiet ater 10pm as that was thier 'rule' but apparently I was the only one to follow the rule. I thought to myself at 2am why the hotel would have a rule they could not enforce. I never saw one person from the staff monitoring the ongoings each night. Needless to say... I will not be going back there and I may be tained from the whole chain of Country Inn and Suites.
Our room was not clean, and the staff was rude at check in and more so when we asked to be moved, breakfast looked like an army had marched through and the staff said they were out of milk, muffins and cups for coffee. I wish I would have slept in my car.
My friends and I booked the hotel to stay in after attending a wedding. The rooms were lovely and clean, as was the entire hotel. The complimentary breakfast provided a wide variety of options that were quickly replenished by the friendly staff. The stay was a very pleasant experence, though I did wish they had some cheaper room options.'
