Desk was knowledgeable and friendly.
The air conditioner fan didn't blow air very well.
clean big rooms, close to food and shopping
a lot further down the road than the map shows.
Clean. Friendly folks. Good location. Great value.
Rooms are surprisingly nice. Recently renovated.
location and the room was old but nicely redecorated with a microwave and fridge.
The breakfast area wasn't kept clean and it was too small. I had to stand and eat both mornings.
Comfortable rooms, free breakfast and wifi
Loved the location! The price was fair and the breakfast was great! Staff were very kind
Hotel in need of updates. Little bit of mold in bathroom and stain on the bed.
ALL work related. Love the rooms, great color balance rooms n hallways. Beds & flat sceen TV.
No Washer or Dryer or laundry room. WIfI (internet) works but times NOT!.. Hr's & hrs until BACK online again. Use hotpot finish my matters. Older male try to hustle me, at breakfast THAT rally turn-me off!.. wasn't looking or seek that kind behavior!
Comfortable room. Nice TV. Indoor swimming pool & hot tub.
Had very noisy neighbors partying until after 1:30 a.m.
staff, pool, location, parking, quite rooms.
Smell of smoke, cleanliness, old bed spreads, musty smell like they are try to cover up smellyour typical 2-star hotel ok not a 1 star hotel lower end of 2-star.
I liked the location of the hotel in Mankato, breakfast items were good, staff was very friendly and courteous!
The first night we were there must have been when they put the chlorine in the hot tub, because while in the pool area, my eyes were instantly burning from it.
Clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff
I liked the breakfast selection.
Pricing could be more consistent among hotels in the same chain, based on how much we travel.
The rate was exceptional....just what I was hoping for as I wanted to stay over for shopping, but didn't want to pay a fortune. The bed was so comfortable and room very inviting.
If anything, being the age I am (85), I missed the elevator, but did ok.
Large room, very modern,
Bed was older and saggy.
Being able to drink in hot tub
Loud, creepy workers.
Easy check-inFriendly host
Room too hot. Noisy room above me. Dirty breakfast room. Noisy bathroom fan which couldn't control without turning the light off
The room was modern, comfortable and spacious. For being in a busy area, it was very quiet.
Access... however that also keeps the traffic down, so not necessarily a negative.
Non-smoking room still have heavy smell of smoke coming mainly from the bathroom air vents.
Very dirty floor in breakfast area. Hall and stairway floors are equally dirty.
Pool hot tub
My room door would not lock except with second security lock.told staff about it they did nothing. Didn't feel safe at all
Close to Red Lobster.
Staff did not replenish our coffee when they cleaned the room after the first night.
Good access to Starbucks and Panera Bread. Pet fee was reasonable.
Bedspreads had a 'used' look and feel
Location, price of room, updated room decor
breakfast was not good. Ran out of milk and other breakfast items before we got down for breakfast.
The location. 5 minutes from my destination and the rate was low.
The room smelled like a wet basement. I found mold in the bathroom and in the air unit. The waffle batter sour, the OJ was brown. Fruit fly in the bathroom.I talked with the manager and he said he would have someone check it out. Calling the Health Dept.
Location and staff.
When we arrived in our room, the AC was set at 64degrees. Burrrr! It was freezing in the room at 9:00pm. We turned the setting to 72. By morning, the humidity level in the room was extremely high. Our sheets were damp and our hair was moist.
rooms were clean and comfortable
the manager was difficult to work with and not accomodating
There is massive construction going on in the area makes it more than difficult to get to.
Rate was good. Nice tv. Bed was nice and liked that it had a frig.
Pets allowed and barking dogs. Carpet smelled old. The breakfast area was way too closed off so hard to use.
horrible experience. Staff was out of control and very angry that we woke him up @ 2am (when I got back from the emergency room). was told its 2:30 in the morning just go to bed. Then he continued to treat us rudely. continued below...
The hot tub was very nice. Had been recently redecorated with stone and waterfall.
We had to contact front desk to fix shower. Did not work at all. They allowed young children (ages 6 and 7) to swim in pool w/o adults. When I told front desk that children that young were swimming in pool alone, the clerk shrugged and said parents.
The staff was all so nice and accommodating. It was in a very good location.
There was a mold problem in my rooms, it was bad in the first so I was switched very quickly, nice staff. The second room had a small amount in the bathroom but I was too tired to change again. I am allergic to mold.
The employees were helpful and cheerful. They did the best they could to make the environment acceptable. They took pride in their work but the facilities were not kept up.
The towels were ragged and shredded. The bedding was old, worn and faded. The view from the hallway window was an overflowing dumpster. The hot tub was not working properly: the first night it was cold, the second night it was virtually empty.
the staff the room is probably the WORST I ever stayed in.
nearly everything My room door has numerous drill holes where the deadbolt has been replaced over & over, again. Makes me feel real secure as a single woman traveling alone.
If you just need a place to lay your head, this is a good place to stay. Cleaning staff was very nice. For the money, it's a quality stay. However, the rooms show it's age.
I stayed here for my son's graduation from college, and it was such a wonderful stay that I will be going back for future visits. Very comfortable beds!
Midwestern hospitality, clean, quiet and also in the center of a great shopping and restaurant area. Easy access to all major roads coming into and leaving Mankato and the whole area. As a former resident of North Mankato (many years ago) I found the Mankato Comfort Inn felt like home.
This was a nice place to stay and a good value for the money. The best part of all was that the beds were very comfortable! It seems like I always toss and turn in hotels because of the beds but these were nice. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and they even had a small selection of fruit instead of only donuts! The pool was kind of small but adequate. The whole place was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be that there was not enough seating in the breakfast area.
The service at this hotel was top notch. They were very accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would come back to this hotel.
Stayed two nights while deer hunting in S. MN. Very pleased overall with the hotel. Clean room, nice staff, quiet, excellent bed. Two small negatives: back main door security lock not working and it is a bit difficult to find the hotel coming from the west. Will certainly stay there next year. Excellent value for the money.
The pool and hot tun were closed during our visit. We could have walked across the parking lot to a different hotel to use theirs but chose not to.
