Cons:
My rental pickup was for 2pm. The flight got in at 2 and the Alamo agent left before any customers got to the Alamo counter, even though he/she must have known there were people in that flight that booked rentals with Alamo. I spent over $200 extra having to rent through another company and will never use Alamo again. I also question Kayak’s booking platform for not flagging the early closure of Alamo rental countries at the airport.Avis

Better selection of cars...did not have Altima that I reserved, nor did they have any of that class...only choices were a Jetta that was very dirty and had bald tires, and a Corrolla that was ok...took the Corrolla despite the smaller size.Budget

Cons:
Gas tank only had 1/4 tank. Rep told me I could fill it up and get reimbursed if I brought it back with more which is not true. Car smelled like BO and ran very rough with a rattle. Rep at return site was unfriendly. Terrible experience that cost way too much.10.0 Wonderful

Kayak allowed me to book a car through budget that wasn't available. The budget rental car and the 3rd party vendor (K), should have a better form of communication to ensure people do not reserve a rental car that is not available.2.0 Poor

Pick up was easy and the car was great. Gas mileage was super for my long trip. Enjoyed a comfortable ride.Cons:
Someone didn’t think about the airport being closed when they put the drop box at the hertz counter. Budget was allowing their customers to leave keys in car, but I was told that I would be charged an unlock fee if I did that. So, I’m going to have to wait for airport to reopen so I can drive 45 minutes each way to take keys back to the hertz counter. will not be using hertz again.6.0 Okay
