Very nice motel, recently remodeled. Clean and recent upgrades to the amenities. The breakfast served was ok, the orange juice and apple juice tasted watered down. The breakfast food (eggs, sausage, waffles, etc) all tasted bland like of an average quality. I did not expect a 5 star breakfast but I felt they had been stingy with providing a quality breakfast for the room rate we paid. The staff was very helpful and nice. Location was just off of downtown with a trolley that ran right in front of the motel. Would stay again though I would be a little wiser.
Have stayed here a couple of times now and the service is what you would expect from the hospitality industry. The staff was personable and very curteous. I am a resident in Memphis and have recommended this hotel to many friends.
I am a frequent traveler and I have to say this is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had! The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. They charged my Credit Card -- twice! -- when they were supposed to void the charge because I found the hotel so unappealing. I checked in after the designated ''check in'' time, only to find a room with trashed beds, pizza boxes, and beer cans scattered about. They said it would only take 5 minutes to clean up -- yeah, if they just flipped the blankets over and didn't even clean it! The staff at the front desk was nearly incompetent and the hotel manager was nowhere to be found. If you have troubles here, don't expect anyone to provide anything that resembles ''customer service'' or assistance. Do not stay here! You are better off paying more to stay downtown. In addition, this hotel advertises that they are close to the ''heart of Memphis'' but unless you mean the heart center at the medical colleges, they are way off base. It was at least 15 minutes driving to reach downtown from their location. Please do not risk your weekend or vacation on this hotel!
First, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and quick. We were able to check in a little earlier. The room was very comfortable and had a nice modern style to it. The showerhead was pretty cool. I would probably stay here again.
We could not find a room empty in Memphis during Labor Day weekend until we ran into this place. The staff was helpful and able to put us up for a reasonable fee. The rooms were nice, but beware of the shower. There is no water pressure. The only negative thing was the breakfast. They had bagged pastries, boxed cereals, and older bananas. The breakfast was not that big of a deal though since we had planned to explore the city restaurants anyway. We would plan on staying their again due to its convienance, friend personnel, and its rates.
Everything is very new, and the rooms are modernly decorated. The TV is great, but it is weirdly attached to the wall above an entertainment center with a big empty space where the flat TV would have fit very well on a stand and easier to see from the bed.We were enveloped in 'new hotel room smell.' The carpet glue smell was overwhelming. We had to leave the bathroom fan on.The trolley is nice, but the hotel sits right in the middle of 2 trolley stops, 2 blocks walk to either one. There isn't anything but hospitals near the GEN X. I won't stay here again without a car.

Right on trolly line and very clean. Desk personnel were very nice and helpful. They had maps already to go for every place we asked about. Will stay there again
The hotel is a recently converted medical office building, and it retained a little of that feel in terms of layout. Everything was clean/new, however ''luxury linens'' are an exageration. Some stylish furniture/accessories are mixed with cheap installations. Color scheme in lobby is interesting. However, this hotel is certainly adequate and in a convenient location for accessing downtown/midtown/hospitals. I was pleased to get a room on a busy convention weekend! Neighborhood is not great but parking is sufficient (free) and well-lit.
