Just the overall freshiness of my room, the lobby, elevator, and the parking lotNo
No ice machine?
No ice trays, no Cups,
Location. Plenty of parking.
Attitude of manager and all front desk . Pans in box of kitchenware, must be requested, had dried on food. Cabinet door broken. Toenail trimmings in bathroom. Inside kitchen drawers filthy. Handicap spaces illegally used whenever manager is in
It was very quiet
they didn't have any of the kitchen utensils in the room no pots and pan no coffee pot nothing
Every thing was good.
Need breakfast room with more food. Waffles, Boil eggs.etc.
Worst hotel in years
Rude arrogant manager. Dirty room. Excessive deposit supposedly because it is renovated. What a joke. Room painted over and counters and tub replaced with easier to hide filth color style. Bathroom drain broken. Fridge had pieces of old food. more...
Location is great. Close to several restaurants and events
Hotel requires a major credit card to put hold on or $100 cash deposit. Deposit was more than the room rates.
price is nice , location is good.
Bed bud bite me 4 nights straight. My body has a lot of red bump. No more that hotel.
The hotel smells of smoke and now all my dress clothes smell aweful
Newly renovated. New carpet, beds, and freshly painted.
Took almost 10 minutes for the water in the shower to warm up.
Counter staff was friendly and helpful. Liked the room.
Stairs and halls still not clean, still no coffeemaker in room; some remodeling going on, may be why rooms not equipped. I didn't ask for one, either, there was coffee downstairs.
The room was nicely laid out and the staff members were very nice.
In the description, it says 'breakfast included' but there was no breakfast. There was one coffee pot, granola bars, and fruit. That is not a breakfast, that is a snack. There should be a more accurate description for breakfast, like light breakfast.
Nice secluded location, check in was quick and room was clean. A courtesy call was given within a few minutes of arriving to make sure the room was okay.
I checked in late evening and forgot to rerequest a late checkout. I called the front desk twice with no answer then the lady knocks on the door asking am I extending I said yes but she says they weren't doing that for that day?why did you ask then?
COFFEE WAS REALLY GOOD, CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST OKAY, STAFF HELPFUL WHEN i COULDN'T GET THE TV TO WORK, IT WAS JUST A LOOSE CONNECTION..BED WAS FIRM. GREAT VALUE AT $38.00, WOULD'T BE IF MUCH HIGHER.
COMMON FLOORS AND STAIRWELLS WERE NOT CLEAN, SECONDARY ENTRANCE DOOR DIDN'T WORK. NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM.
Overall a very nice hotel. The room was clean and well appointed at check in.
There is no option for daily maid service. Bed was unmade at end of my work day. There was no bath towel swap-out or new soap bars. Trash cans were not emptied. Breakfast in the lobby was a cup of hot coffee and a packaged muffn with no place to sit.
The staff was horrible. I waited at the front desk for 3 mins before someone addressed me; although, there was no other customer there. The rooms have no cups or coffee makes or any utensils but it's an extended stay hotel.
Spacious, modernised refurbished room. Free internet.
Refurbishing in progress with dirty, smelly passages and carpets. No lounge or general conversation area.
Very beautiful scenery i.e.greenery. and bushes. Staff offered baggage cart to unload luggage etc. Staff pleasant and courteous. Room was large and not crowded as some lower priced hotels.
Accommadations were good, just was expecting having a comfortable chair to sit and read in. Had to get with front staff to get coffee pot and toaster, along with kitchen sink stopper. No available pool at this motel.
Great for a quick overnight stay when my flight was canceled
not that I recall
my computer's wifi didn't work well with hotel's system. My computer had worked great at hotel the previous night.
The hotel is in a great location.
The rooms were very outdated and there were stains on the comfortor and the chair. There were also holes in the walls and a leaky facet.
Price and local to work area.
Parking lot was not well lit; I checked in at night after shift.
Requested an iron evening and day were looking for one no followup. No one was available to check out until 7 am so key card on desk. The carpet had multiple stains. Slept poorly very loud refrigerator. Water in bathtub was rust colored
As stated above
It didn't have kitchen equipment and no ashtrays in smoking room. No bin for ICE. No nothing
Passing through town, close to interstate so that was good.
Was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it sure didn't smell like it. Breakfast was weak, just granola bars and apples.
Clean and was not overpriced
check in process was fast and easy
Car was broken into....Parking lot has no security and is poorly lit. Manager couldn't care less about me or my car being broken into. Rooms smell BAD! Room was not clean. Food from previous guest left in fridge.
When I went to check in, I was told that the hotel on Quail Hollow was overbooked and they had made arrangements for me to stay at another Extend Stay on Poplar Avenue. No offer to compensate me for the inconvenience and no one tried to contact me before
the location and price were great
The hotel is a bit run down. Turning the lamps on and off was difficult... They need to be replaced. The bedspread was a bit tattered. Paper was coming off the ceiling in the bathroom.
Not a thing
One of my rooms was not ready when time of check in. The staff called the manager, but did not have a care in the world. (She was off the weekend).
The fact that it was equipped with kitchen.
Yes, the kitchen was not equipped with any pots, pans, dishes, or silverware. Nothing. Why bother to have all the appliances if you can't use them.
The rooms weren't clean. Empty toilet roll on the floor, the toilet paper was used, the first room we were put in the A/C was broken, the 2nd room we were put in reaked of mildew.
great staff. Great price
everything was great for a one night stay
bed was too short. we have to pass the nite hardly without chainging our positions on bed. we were three like my wife and kid.
It was clean.
The room only included one bed and I had to buy a hotel room for my brother in law.
it was clean had a kitchen and dishes and a big frig
they acted like it was a bother when u ask them for clean towels and would not give even one extra towel or rag i ask for soap for the bath and dish liquid and they got it but first said they had none i then went out and got anything else that i needed
The front desk and manager was great. The room was spacious.
There was a storm during my stay and we lost power from 2 o'clock in the afternoon till 9 o'clock the next day. While this was no fault of the hotel. What was the emergency lights did not work at all in most of the hotel. The maintenance staff was not
The location was great because it was right of the highway
The room had some ants when we got there and the beds were a little too hard
Took an hour to check in, first room I was sent to was filthy, and didn't even have sheets on the bed. I was also awoken in the morning by a staff member trying to come in my room, after getting out of bed he told me he didn't think anyone was in the room
The locations was easy to get to and it was well lit and pet friendly.
The lady working the front desk was genuinly inconveneinced that I checked in after midnight. She was rude and very hateful.
Yes, I reserved a nonsmoking but only a smoking was available. I was told by the staff that they don't like 3rd parties, although it may be cheaper for the customer.
The hotel was great for the price - very affordable and very comfortable.
Because it is an extended stay hotel, room service was not offered while we were there. While were still able to get fresh linens, it was inconvenient to have to ask for them.
Very low end hotel for the rating displayed. This visit burned me on the chain.
Size of room, refrigerator in room
Furniture was very worn and chipped, bathtub was damaged looking and slippery, place looked a bit run down.
Hotel staff charged my credit card without my permission. I was not pleased with that at all. I didn't order anything special or specific to require this. So be aware of this practice at this hote. Locked me out of my room while my things were there.
Couldn't get replacement towels. Seen and killed some huge roaches last night leading to no sleep.
We liked the price of the room.
Staff was very rude. I am a general manager of a retail store, and I would never speak to my guests the way the manager of this location spoke to us. Also, there were several spiders. at least one a day, even found a spider crawling across my chest in bed
Close to the shopping and highway
Room smelled like smoke, especially in the morning. No house keeping and the lobby door didn't work after 10 pm.
Location is good but far from downtown. Overall cleanliness is poor. Service is very courteous and price is great.
Wow..where to start. I'm just going to list what was wrong: had to wait on front desk attendant to finish her cigarette before getting helped (walked right by her while walking in because she was out front, lighting it up and on the phone), room key didn't work on first try and had to go back down to get it redone, cigarette burn on my sheets, bathroom smelled like smoke at night (someone was smoking for sure), woke up to banging and bed was uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was very negative. The room didn't feel clean from the moment I walked in. I should have spent a few more dollars and enjoyed my sleep.
Omg its so nasty in there, it is a nightmare, that place need to be shut down. its dirty, smell, bloody sheet, don't forget the cigarette hole and bed bugs in your bed sheets as well., I cancel my room the same day...please do yourselves a favor don't stay there, or you will regret it.
Not much else to say...a decent value. It's a budget hotel, so I don't expect a lot.
I will never stay at an Extended Stay again. I stayed at both the Poplar and Cordova location and they were both very dirty. The Poplar location had the rudest and most disrespectful hotel night clerk that I have ever experienced.
The staff was nice, friendly and efficient, but the room was horrible. I didn't pay for a room that I had to clean before I could use it. I had to clean the countertops, desk in the bedroom and bathroom. The bathtub was dirty. The ice tray in the freezer had something either groeing on it or it needed to be washed out real good. There was a soiled lazyboy in the room. A stale odor and the air conditioner does not really pump out 'high' strength air. I would have done better paying $20 more down the street at Embassy Suites. Until these rooms are inspected and brought up to par, the price is too high. I have stayed at Extended Stays before and they have exceed my expectations in other states, but this one, by far has been the worst!
The hotel provided what we needed for a short overnight stay, and that's about it. The bed was not very comfortable, the room lacked towels, etc. The kitchenette was pretty bare bones, and a few of the outlets did not work, so we had to brew coffee on our nightstand. The location was ok, quiet and nearby shopping and coffee. It is what is expected for under $**.** a night, definitely nothing more.
