Everything was very good. We were in the area for a funeral, and the hotel was in a really convenient location. We also appreciated the full breakfast, the good a/c, and the comfortable bed.

Decaf coffee dispenser did not work. Attendant managed to get me one cup of coffee that day, but the dispenser did not work on any of the other days I was there, so no coffee for me.
It's quiet and the rooms were bigger than I thought they would be.
The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean.
It was a little challenging to get to from the direction I was coming from.
I am a Platinum Choice member and stay about 30 days a year at Choice hotels. Reserved 2 weeks in advance, this hotel refused cash at check in and would not let my wife and I check in w/o a credit card. No amount of cash deposit or other means were acceptable. Clerk refused to help in any fashion. Went to another Choice property across town and had a great experience. Emailed a complaint to the mgr. who defended his position and policies. This site is a black eye on Comfort Suites. Customer service does not exist here. Solicit them at your own peril.
I stayed for four nights. The first night was in a room that (I found out at 1am) was being taken over by bugs. They were landing on me, under the sheets, crawling up the walls, etc. Management did promptly move me to another room but no apology was given. The new room was nicer, cleaner and bug free.
We frequently stay here when we come to events in the Metroplex. Great rates, great beds, great breakfast, great service. This time though, the room smelled like cigarettes although it is a non-smoking property. Also, the carpet in our room was apparently FILTHY because my feet were black after walking around in the room! Carpet needs a deep-cleaning shampooing and the property will probably be due for a remodel in a couple more years. And if you're coming south on Beltline, turn in beside the dry cleaners or you will end up at Hwy. 80 and have to turn around. The sign is hard to see, but that is the last left-turn before you get to Hwy. 80.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Mesquite, Texas October 17-20. We have stayed at this location in past visits to Dallas. I called this location ten days prior to arriving at the hotel and spoke with Mike Patel who identified himself as the manager. He informed me that the hotel had completed a complete remodel June of this year. We reserved a room with two queen beds to sleep four adults but the hotel only supplied towels and wash clothes for two people. The bed spreads were stained along with the pillows. Holes were in the walls behind both doors with the bathroom door lock missing. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall and the tub drain was broken. In addition to room problems, the hallway carpet was soiled and the elevator was out of order for one night. No coffee was in the breakfast room for two mornings. The fire alarm went off two out of the three nights. Each morning the housekeeper would come by to collect dirty towels from the previous night not knowing if we were sleeping. This is the first time I have ever experienced a hotel with inaccurate linens.
One of the nicest rooms for a little price. It is worth the money. Rooms are nice, clean, and large. Peaceful
