Close to shopping and food. Not far from downtown.
You have to call the front desk to get the wifi user name and password. The hotel is listed as a 2 1/2 but could pass as a 3. Free parking garage.
Location...close to downtown New Orleans without the traffic and inconvenience of downtown.
On two nights, a very loud wedding rehearsal and wedding reception kept things noisy until very late at night. The public areas are not separated from the rooms because of the open gallery construction, so there was no way to isolate the noise.Very nice staff, very clean accommodations with free parking. Even though WiFi was free, it was very slow and kept knocking me off the internet.
This hotel is clean and my room had a coffee pot and a small refrigerator, which I appreciated. The location is walking distance to a mall and some restaurants. I ate in the hotel at their restaurant for dinner and the meal was excellent.
It is about 7 miles from downtown New Orleans.I liked it there and would recommend it to anyone flying out the next day. It was only about 10 minutes to the airport by taxi. The pool was outdoors and it was raining out, so I would have preferred an indoor pool. The free internet was much appreciated. It's a nice hotel and I would use them again.
I was forced to stay in a smoking room. It was completely disgusting. I had to send my kids to sleep at a family member's house because they were both coughing from the cigarette smoke.
Free parking was nice.
We were given a smoking room even though we requested a non smoking room. The staff made no attempt to change our room and said we should book directly with them as when it is booked through a third party, they do not need to grant request, even smoking. This was simply the worst hotel stay ever!!!! I spend nearly a month a year in a hotel room and this was my worst hotel experience. We booked the room through Priceline, and upon arrival, we were told we would be put in a smoking room. I told them that we definitely did not want a smoking room and had requested a non smoking room. We were then told, since we made the reservation through a third party, they did not have to meet the request of the reservation. They also told us all of the other rooms were filled, but could 'spray the room out'. We were on the 8th floor with no windows to open and the room had the worst smell of dense stale cigarette smoke imaginable. It...
Room was spacious and the bed was VERY comfortable. TV was excellent.
The remote control was horrible. New kind that you could clean, but could not change the input. We had video and photos to look at but could not get to a menu with this NEW remote!Room, bed and bedding was very nice. Hotel was very clean, but the pool was closed. There were only a couple of restaurants in walking distance; Outback Steakhouse, Japanese food and Wild Wings were about it, which was OK. It was very hard to find and get to hotel with GPS on the I10 access road. But we found it after turning around a few times.
housekeeping shoddy, no shampoo ( 2 conditioners) no reg coffee in room iron did not work properlyalittle worn should be 2 star
