There was a massive Jacuzzi in my room.
1. ~15 males in the lobby, wearing either all red or no shirts at 9:00 pm when I checked in, and at 11:30 when I went to my car. Observed cars pulling up to the lobby, one of the males approaching the vehicle for a few minutes, and then walking back to lobby. 2. Theft of medication during the day, potentially by hotel staff. 3. Much of the hotel appears to be rented to section 8 types.
This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. Dirty, really dirty, so horribly dirty.
The 3 hours of sleep I got clutching my wallet and phone in case of break in was adequate.
Dirty, loud, dirty, broken TV, dirty, gross bed, dirty, drug and alcohol parties in the hall, scary.
-It had an open room and we only needed it for the night. -The aesthetic of the outside is very neat. - Some of the staff was very friendly. -It was quiet.
- We checked in early, which was fine, but we weren't told there was an early check-in fee of $33 until after we checked out. - We were checked out before we even left our room. It was just odd that they'd run out credit card before we asked to leave. - There aren't many amenities in the room. It is obviously an older hotel. It could really stand some renovations. - The blankets on the bed look like they haven't been replaced since the place opened. There were threads coming off of it and it just looked old. - Fine for a cheap one night on your way to somewhere else, but just not worth the money they're asking. - It is located in the middle of an industrial complex. There is literally nothing to do besides swim in the pool at the hotel. There is a Sketchers shoes outlet in walking distance and that's it. It's about a 20 - 30 minute cab ride from the airport/ downtown Miami/ Miami beach.
It was close to the dolphins stadium.
Don't come in any before 3:00 and expect to check in. They said you could check in early but it would cost $30. When we did check in the remote was gone in out room so we ask the front desk for one and was told they would get us one. then we rested for a couple of hours and went to check out the bathroom and noticed it didn't have a door. I went up front again and ask if we could get a door. with a confused look on his face said he would see what he could do. a couple of hours later we was still waiting for the remote and door we decided to leave so went back to front desk to see about the progress. a different lady said that they would get us another room. after we got into the new room the TV remote didn't work on the OLD TV so I took it back to the desk to tell them about it the guy who really didn't speak very good English said I needed to take it back to the room and program it. after the first day we left the room till 3:30 and cam back to a room that hadn't been cleaned or given new towels so we just figured it was par for the course. about 20 minutes later a cleaning lady knocked on the door but didn't speak any English so I told her to leave us some new towels and we would make due. after a few minutes and us showing her the towels she figured out she figured out what we was saying and just left. we thought she was going to bring us towels but 2 hours later she still didn't bring then so back to the desk we went to get towels. after they figured what we was trying to get we got some and could shower. another hour later the cleaning lady came back and brought us more towels. everything after that went great till breakfast the next morning. went down to eat the continental breakfast and it was cereal and apples and oranges that was frozen solid. I decided to get the cereal and noticed the milk was frozen solid so the cereal was out I decided to drink some orange juice and it was frozen solid. The only thing left was a muffin and it was only really cold so I decided to eat that but it tasted really old so I decided to check out and go to a quickstop for breakfast. So other that these setbacks it was Ok I guess .
The ONLY thing enjoyable about this hotel was the fact that it was 5 minutes from the Sun Life Stadium.
The entire hotel had a humid feel to it, as if the air conditioning wasn't working properly. The air conditioner in the hotel room was a window unit. The bath tub was absolutely nasty when we arrived. There may have been a total of 10 working channels on the TV. And worst of all, we paid over a hundred dollars for a room that just wasn't worth that kind of money. ESPECIALLY when we had stayed at a Howard Johnson the night before that was perfect for only forty dollars!
Very cold shower no hot water in room 225
That we were only booked for 1 night!!! I could not have stayed there any longer.
The room was dirty. There was not a microwave in the room, the guest had to use a common microwave on each floor, it was filthy!!! The bathtub in the room looked as if it had never been cleaned. The towels were worn and dingy. We had to ask for hand and bath towels. There were none in the bathroom at check-in. Received 2 hand towels no bath towels. The alarm clock didn't work. The curtains in the room were torn and falling down. The television was only able to show 4 channels none of them local. Upon check-in we were advised of additional fees, such as $50.00 incidental check-in fee, this is in addition to paying for your entire stay in advance including all taxes hotel fees. If you want a fridge in your room, you have to pay a fee!!! The continental breakfast was shameful!! It was too terrible to describe. I would never stay there again!!!! What happened to the Egyptian Sheets?!!!
The hotel staff had my credit card and ID for 3days. When i realise they were missing i went to the frount desk they said, they had it but could not find it, they would email the rest of the staff to see if they knew where it was. I had to cancell my credit and find a way to pay with cash. The hotel staff were very unsempetic and act as if i did somting wrong. I was locked out of the room on last night becouse i told the person that was working that morning i canceled my credit card, so that evling when i got back to the hotel i had to go back to the frount desk and go over the story again. The lady that was working, this night, was very under- standing and let me back in the room and this was the only person who ever said,to me," I am sorry for your inconvenance". My stay at the hotel was one of my worst experences.I would neven think about staying there again. And if anything leagaly can be done about them keeping my credit card and ID i will try and find a way to get it done.
good for an overnight stay...not longer.
staff not friendly.
