The only thing I liked was the location.
I had low expectations about this hotel but it was worst than expected. The newest thing on my room was the TV. The mattress was a disaster. Overall the room was fairly clean but unattractive. In my case, I only needed an overnight for business, it works only for that considering the price.
Unfriendly staff, no wifi in room, wifi in lobby terrible, dirty rooms, old and damaged furniture and decorations, and no hot water.
I chose this hotel because it was close to the free metromover.
The doors did not seem secure at all. The sheets were stained. There was no blanket on the bed. The matresses were TERRIBLE. It was loud. The 1-2 block area was teaming with homeless people. It was SUCH a bad neighborhood. One bare lightbulb in the bathroom. One small traditional tv high in the corner of the room.
The price is amazing for the location, but it is a BARE BONES hotel. I only needed a place for my crew to stay for a job in South Beach the next day, so it was sufficient. But you get what you pay for and it was CHEAP. A. Nothing left in the room got stolen B. No one got mugged outside C. The shower was relatively hot D. I'll stay there again for work only E. Outdoor cafe next door is fantastic. (Manolo y
There are homeless people everywhere outside. Their "continental breakfast" is literally the bread and cake you see in the pictures. It is the worst I've EVER seen. Room is claustrophobic. It wasn't very clean.
There was nothing to like about this place
Everything about this place was not likeable.
Affordable. Staff was very polite. Location close to downtown. Rooms kind of old but are kept clean. Pretty good if you are not going to be in the room much and don't want to spend a ton of money in a luxury hotel. We just basically went to sleep and shower and enjoyed the city.
Needs new carpets and fixtures. No free parking. Breakfast is limited to coffee and some bread. Not good if you are going to stay in the room all day long, which honestly, with all that Miami has to offer, why to do that.
I didn't expect anything fancy with the rooms I just needed somewhere to sleep for a few days the pillows are really soft which is great!
The bathroom was the size of a walk in closet! Everything in the bathroom is all so close together & the bathroom is really dirty! They do not wash those tubs! The beds are hard & my room did not have the microwave or refrigatrator like I expected. The room smells weird because the carpets are dirty. At night the sound of the subway was so loud & annoying I could barely sleep. Sometimes there is loud music. This hotel does NOT include parking. If you are last min looking for a hotel just skip this one.
The location !!!!!!!!
That was The worst place ever..... They should close right away
Everything. It isn't sanitary enough for a human being. It was not clean, lots of holes in the wall, bathroom was too small, Doors were weak and The walls were thin. Too much money
smell, room, bugs
Location only !!!!!!
First , desk staff was very RUDE . Second , I had to carry my bags up 3 flights of emergency exit stairs ( elevator was out of order ) . Third , the shits on the bed were filthy , no blankets , no cups , no ice bucket , and no comp. shampoo . Fourth , no curtains , and blinds were sooo very ratty . Fifth , it took almost 1 hour to get hot water and then it was luke warm at best . Sixth , the tv said they had 28 channels , and there was only 10 , and the signal from the satalite was sooo bad that you couldn't see what was on .Seventh , the cont. breakfast was only coffee and toast . I would have been better staying on a park bench . I paid way to much money for this DUMP . NEVER AGAIN .
The hotel is old, dirty and downright seedy. There is no elevator and it is quite difficult to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs in heels. Although I had a hotel confirmation via email, there was NO record of my reservation at the hotel and they were sold out!! Luckily, they somehow found me a room after a half hour computer search!!! I knew that it was a "basic" facility and only booked there because I had last minute plans to attend an Art Basel event and everything was booked. Luckily, we were only in the room for a total of 5 hrs, I slept on top of the sheets (no blanket supplied) because they were stained and it freaked me out. Slept with chair and luggage against door. Door and lock very flimsy. Basic would have been acceptable. Sadly, it is far less than basic. A great location, but please gut the building and start over.
