Great Location!!!! It was in downtown, walking distance to lots of shops & restaurants, like Midtown Shopping Center,Bayside Shops, the American Airlines Arena & Wynwood Arts District. Its also a 5 minute drive to South Beach, for a fraction of the cost!I stayed here pre- cruise this year and also for 5 weeks last year while we were looking a long term apartment to rent in N.Miami Beach. On arrival I rang the doorbell and someone came out immediately to greet us and let us in. There is also a phone number you can call for help or service at any time and they are very good about getting anything you need done very quickly and answering any questions promptly. The rooms are cute, very clean, recently renovated in great taste, and have full kitchens. The staff is very sweet & helpful & have daily cleaning only if you leave the housekeeping sign on your door. The wifi is fast and the parking simple and widely available. I have rented lots of apartments before and what mak...
The kitchen had a great supply of utensils and dishes.
The location is down a residential road that appears to have seen better days. The fact there is no elevator makes it difficult if you have a large amount of luggage.Check in was a struggle. We arrived later in the evening which according to my booking I was able check in by midnight. We arrived around 6 or 7 pm. I had to call the phone number which is not for someone on sight. The person who answered said they would call someone and have them meet us. The office is the manager's apartment. She is an older woman and VERY sweet. She did not speak english but we managed. It would have been great to know this ahead of time though. There is quick access on and off of major highways (95 is what we used) and it was maybe 15 minutes to south beach. I liked this as the price was reasonable especially compared to south beach. We were shown two rooms that were available and allowed to choose which w...

There was nothing to like about this "hotel".
I hated everything about this "hotel". The service was unhelpful and stupid. It didn't even matter that they couldn't speak English very well, since they had no common sense and blamed the guest for any problems that occurred. The pigeon and bat sounds were annoying and kept me awake. The pool was run down and moldy-looking. The lights no longer worked at some point. the faucets were leaking and you can see the pluming pipes in the bathtub. The bed sheets were stained and ripped in places. The TV did not work. The bathroom door was busted and could not close. The mini fridge was actually a mini freezer. The lamp shade did not shade the light bulb. The window curtains did not completely cover the window. The floor was sticky and overall dirty. The walls were stained yellow with black marks here and there. The security cameras, trespass warning signs (targeted at the guests of the "hotel"), and outer door/gate that was always open but supposed to be closed, made me feel unwelcome and unsafe. Oh, and the room smelled like piss the entire time! This place should be considered on par with the local $10/hr motels.
