The staff was very helpful
Clean, friendly, hot breakfast and coffee maker in room.
Pancake maker not working.
The room was nice. The breakfast was nice.
The walls were paper thin. You could hear noises all night. Traffic, steps above us, people outside the door. We did not sleep well. We were even down the hall from elevator.
The hot breakfast bar
The beds were the most uncomfortable. The sheets had gross stains on them.
Nice breakfast, nice location, friendly staff.
The smoke free room was not smoke free. Clearly, this used to be a smoking room despite its labeling as even our children complained about it.
STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING, ROOMS WERE CLEAN,
WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE ACCESS TO SIDE DOOR OPENING DURING DAY TIME HOURS
We really enjoyed the cozy chair and ottoman. My Husband is diabetic and needs to sit and prop up his legs and sometimes sleeps that way too for part of the night. This Hotel is perfect for us.I loved the indoor pool, so We both got what we wanted.
It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.
The floor boards above us were so squeaky when someone walked across them that it kept us up at night and woke us up from a dead sleep at 6:45 am. When the toilet flushed above us it sounded like a waterfall in our walls.Hot tub was out of order.
The pool was open late...breakfast was good
The room was bad - stains on ceiling.....noise from ice machine and pop machine kept us up all night!!!!
We stay at this hotel each time we travel to Ohio and have never been disappointed. It is clean, staff is friendly breakfast is very good and beds comfortable. I will not stay anywhere else and would recommend that anyone stay there.
We spent the night on a shopping trip. It had a decent breakfast bar. a nice pool and hot tub, and in a nice area. It had what we needed.
The room was good but there were a pair of someone elses flip-flops under the bed when we arrived. Also I was under the impression that all rooms were equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge which was not true so if that is a priority make sure its in the room you book. Other than that the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Basically we got what we paid for.
I don't often stay at Holiday Inn Express and this one wasn't really rated, so I was a little skeptical. This is also why I'm compelled to rate this one. Stay was fantastic! A very good value for the money. I stayed three nights with kids, 2 5-yr old boys and 2 10 yr-old girls, one is a cousin. We had a tremendous stay. Room and staff were excellent...and we made many requests during our 3 nights there. Kids enjoyed a big breakfast each morning, which changed between sausage and biscuits and omelletes, biscuit, sausage patties, plus there were danishes, cereal, and make yourself pancakes. After that, kids swam two hours each morning--pool was very nice and hot tub was HOT. Amazingly so as they're usually tepid in public places. I very much enjoyed that. Kids all swam two hours at the end of each day as well; pool was open from 6:30 am to 11 pm (midnight for adults) and those traveling a long distance with kids, know a pool is crucial. Fresh fruit was out each day and my kids ate MANY clementines (so many that I was a little worried of an extra charge!). We stay in Middletown twice per year and NOW have a new place to stay. One of the best hotels for the money anywhere!
