King beds were sold out, so they upgraded is to a suite. Very clean big room. So nice that I booked again on kayak for a 2nd night for the same low price while standing at the lobby desk. Employee said it was no problem to keep us in our current suite. Very satisfied with our stay.
Minor observations: bed was too firm, but plenty of pillows to help. Other guests smoked and pulled chairs under front check-in area until after midnight. Just a weird scene as the first impression for the hotel. They were nice though.
It was mentioned on the signup page there is a complimentary fitness access. Upon arrival I had learned that the membership was no longer offered. This information could have been updated in the website and may be reflected on the pricing as well
Rooms were clean and recently remodeled. Decent breakfast.
Room was not ready when we arrived. A very frustrating experience as it took us over an hour to switch to not once but TWICE. We booked a king whiich apparently they did not have ready when we arrived (or any king room at all for that matter). An ill-prepared staff who didn't know how things ran. The hallway still smelled of cigarettes.
