Room was very nice
For the price this hotel wasn't too bad...
I did not like housekeeping being very loud early in the morning.
It was a nicely appointed room. We were there for a High School Class reunion nearby so only 1 night. There was an odd smell to the room as we came in-I assume it was some kind of antiseptic.
I'm sure the bed's sheets were changed, but it was wrinkled-and did not look fresh.
It was all right
Bed was very good
Too far off hiway
Close to everything you need
The toilet leaked, seedy surrounding area, a/c filters needed changing, clientele was questionable
The personnel was professional and friendly
The room needed to be updated old furniture etc.
Room was clean and breakfast was good.
Valuables were stolen out of my car while we slept. Not a happy experience.
Friendly staff. For being a 2 star hotel it was a pretty decent clean room. The premise was kept clean even though the hotel rooms are somewhat older. Based on price and stars I was satisfied. Breakfast offered (cereal, fruit, yogurt, breads, etc)
We had to switch rooms due to the AC not working in the 1st rm we were put in. The beds were full beds and not queen beds. The location was about 7 minutes from the freeway.
good service, fixed the sink drain to actually work.
toilet did not flush properly...a bit scary.
I really liked our room. It was just like the photos advertised. I enjoyed the diverse channels on the television. Very much liked having the microwave and nice size fridge in the room also. I wished I could have stayed a slight bit longer.
We arrived at night and the appearance of the place was somewhat dissappointing. In the daytime, however, it wasn't so bad.
I did not like the 80.00 deposit I had to give after my room had already been paid for. I am waiting for my deposit to be put back on my card hope it is soon.
Clean, quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Reasonably priced.
Non-heated swimming pool. Hotel description should state this.
Clean room. A very friendly staff. Easy check-in an out.
The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly
SAFETY HAZARD - The bathroom lights are on a timer (not motion sensor) for 10 minutes, so when you are in the shower the lights go out and it is complete darkness, so you have to step out to turn light back on risking a slip on the tile floors.
First of all - it had no elevator for the upstairs rooms. The AC, though it was cooling, was blocked by a desk and furniture so it did not circulate the cool air. We asked for a fan and it seemed that they gave us their own personal fan. Did not like!
Per website..room have pool view w/sliding door and/or balcony. Refrigerator did not work.
This is the best value in a motel I have ever had. Rooms were clean and up to date, w/ fridge and micro-wave. Great pool, friendly staff. The breakfast was spartan, but adequate, esp. for the money. Motel is off the street so no traffic noise. Restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Modesto.
The air conditioner made a load horrible noise while it was running and when we called the front desk they said sorry there is noting they can do until Monday.
it is well kept up, and the staff was friendly and accomadating
Not much to say about this stay, but close to pool and lots of parking
Bed bugs , filthy carpets, ice machine broken, no extra towels at pool area Price was a bit high for such a dirty room
somehow weird area...stuff told us not to leave personal belongings in our car cars were alarming all night long, we felt a bit uncomfortable
the suff is very nice and it is quiet.
house keeping needs to vacuum the rooms better. I stay in the hotel every other weekend and that's is the only thing i can see that needs to be fixed
The room I got was definitely better than the previous one even though it was the same style and set up.
The staff are fantastic!
The air conditioning unit needs to run all day to have the room a good sleeping temperature for the night. I don't like running it when I'm not there since it is a waste of energy but to have a good temperature for sleeping I will have to.
Hotel was nice and open. Decent rooms perfect for a night's sleep.
The ground floors have sliding doors right next to walkways used by the housekeeping employees so every few minutes in the morning we would hear the supply carts being wheeled by. Pillows were small and stiff as well.
Nope. Everything that was needed for information was great.
Bang for the buck. The room was large, much larger than I had expected for a typical hotel chain. I was told it was in a bad part of town. It looked fine to me. The hotel is set back from the road which makes for a quiet stay.
My one gripe about the place would be the backdoor by my room. The key card would'nt work in it which caused my pregnant girlfriend and I to take the long way. Other than that no gripes
The room did smell once walking into it. Our room had balcony construction with yellow caution tape around it.
Though far from an extravagant hotel, Days Inn had everything we needed in a room. It was very clean and in good condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It included a complimentary breakfast, which consisted of the simple on the go stuff like muffins, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee ect. The room also came with a microwave and a refrigerator, and had an exceptional amount of television channels (70+ channels including HBO). All in all you couldnt beat the price vs. features that were offered there. An exceptional motel!
I wish the towels were more cleaner without visible dark stains in them. The trash can did not have any bag in them.
I come to Modesto several times a year, and have been in many motels in the area. Days inn is by far my pick. The rooms are clean and lovely, the staff is very friendly, and helpful. I go out of my way to stay here. Thank you at the front desk for your sence of humor, and proffesionalism. Thank you for going above and beyond, what anyone should expect from a house keeper. This place is great.
Helpful and friendly staff. Very modest accomodations, older motel. Not much soundproofing, and ventilation minimal. I arrived very late and left very early - didn't have a problem with checking or out, though I was a bit uncertain about a couple of folks in the small lobby. The continental breakfast was adequate, but not much space in which to eat. I don't remember seeing trays to carry food back to the room.
The floors were so dirty that my shoes were sticking to the floor and my socks turned black from walking on them
Location good, room clean, wireless works only for minutes, no iron in the room, hotel is more likely a good 2 stars'
