The smell in the room
Room was clean. Fridge, Showtime. Quiet. Well-maintained.
Reception was very slow and did not value guests time.
Noisey a/c. Small flat pillows. Ants everywhere. No sleep
Rooms are small and thin walls. I could walk down the hall and hear everyones conversations.
there wasn't a whole lot to like about the hotel itself. location was nice and quiet (but confusing.. there are 2 Extended Stay America's across the street from each other - one is 'Arcadia', the other 'Monrovia' - so confusing.
No amenities. Room is not useful at all for 'extended stay'. No comfy chairs or desk to work at - just 2 chairs at a kitchen counter. This is a below avg Motel 6 with old/small kitchenette basically. should not be 3 stars or close.
Great front desk staff! Clean rooms.
The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious.
Room smelled of food from previous occupant, hopefully. Room was big but bed space was rather small.
The room was dirty. Carpets were black. No maid service, we even had to bring our towels to the desk for replenishment. Ran out of TP and had to run out at 6:30AM for replacement as no one was at the desk. We left after two days! A disaster!
friendly and courteous staff. Hotel Employee is very helpful and professional.
Rooms are fully equipped!
I wish I was saying here longer. The best hotel so far. Thank you.
Room came with no shampoo, no drinking glasses, no coffee, no plates, spoons, not even a ice bucket unless you request (desk clerk forgot to explain!). Ashtrays and trash at entrance overflowing. Dog poop not picked up, etc. Just shabby.
No ice, Had to ask several time to get a coffee maker in room. Ended up having to go down ourselves to pick it up. Their was no silverware, dishes or anything in cupboards.
Nice room, helpful staff, big bathroom, good selection of cable channels, decent water pressure in shower.
I should have asked for a better location, for example, a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. They put me right by the maids' laundry room and I heard a lot of slamming doors every morning. I also smelled weed smoke from rooms nearby. Very stinky.
the location for our intended visit
the hotel will charge fee to clean the room
quiet, solid room if a little sparse, pretty clean - good bathroom! Needed more blankets and staff provided.
Some things could be better, like coffee! But that's not this location, it's chainwide.
The location is good and close to restaurants.
My room smelled like cigarettes. It was missing a remote for the television.
Request non-smking - got smoking no hot water room too small
The breakfast was a few fruit in a bowl, no drink, no hot food.
Very difficult to get service, they forget, come down stairs
It is very close to the freeway
My room was a non smoking room. But the entire room smelled of cigarette smoke and air freshener. Opening the windows and turning on the AC only made it worse. The mattress and washcloths were hard. The only saving grace for this place is the staff.
Location of great food restaurants made the stay bearable.
Understaffed front desk made checking in to the hotel a longer process than it needed to be. No kitchen utensils. Uncomfortable bed. Noisy traffic next to the freeway! Dirty towels!!
I needed to pay $40 to upgrade my room to have 2 double beds. We had to ask for the shampoo, toothpaste....and we needed to bring the used towels to the reception to exchange the new towels. That's what I don't like this hotel.
Close to lots of eateries
No towels, no soap, no shampoo, no service. Called the front desk asking for towels and they told me to come up and get them. Thanks for putting the customer first.
Air conditioning was too loud. Our neighbor upstairs kept on walking around after 1am so we couldn't get much sleep. It needs better way to block sound. Since we needed to get up at 4, it was hard on us.
only one bed. P/L guarantees accommodations for two adults. What if they can't/ don't want to sleep in the same bed ?
The cooking kitchen
The service was bad, it took like 30 mins to get ready my room I was waiting outside that long with a tired body. The breakfast is bad too
The location. Close to where I needed to be. Coffee, food and other stores aren't too far away.
Staff! Was waiting at the front desk for about 15 minutes before anyone showed up. Had to call the customer service line. They tried paging someone and still no one available. Finally another guest arrived and started yelling - out comes the staff member.
cheap but very clean, if u rent a car I think it is very easy to go to downtown or other places at Los Angeles, a lot of restaurant r near to this hotel,u can find food easily
The hotel was centrally located
I asked for 2 double beds and they could not accommodate. They stated it was due to using Priceline which is why I got a cheaper rate. I was traveling with a 5yr old and another adult.
Right next to the 210 freeway and very close to our reunion location. Could not have asked for a better spot for shopping and restaurants.
When I signed up for a pet friendly hotel, I assumed pets are FREE but that is not the case. Extended Stay required $50/day for two small dogs. Nothing was mentioned on the Priceline website about pet fees. I was charged $50!
Price. Own kitchen
Lampshades and kitchen was all taken apart and not reassembled for my checkin
There was a dead roach
No housekeepers ever came for the length of our stay! On the last night we did not have hot water for most of that Day, nor we could we get fresh towels. Until the evening
We went to the room on the 3rd floor, facing the back of a strip mall, incredibly HOT & the fridge was making a horrible noise. We tried to call the front desk but the only phone was disconnected and we couldn't find the cord. We went to the front desk & she moved us to a room on the 2nd floor facing the freeway. That room was arctic cold and so noisy neither of us slept. The bed creaked everytime we moved. It was not restful at all!
Something you need to know before choosing this place to stay: - The fire alarm may go crazy at the middle of nights. In last week, we experienced 11 alarm warnings between 12 AM to 3 AM. - For extended stay, the regular room service may not maintain depends on if they remember to do it or not. - The room rate may automatically change anytime without your knowledge. So read your bill carefully before using your credit card. - Internet may work only on the first floor. A Tip if you have chosen this place to stay. - Bring a calculator with you when you are going to check out and to pay the bill.
The hotel is cheap if you book online its clean and therea a full kitchen. Beds are pretty uncomfortable though. I stay here lot and i wpuld reccommend it for the neighboorhood and price
Very clean room, and the no issues checking in. Staff was extremely friendly. Parking was plentiful.
Booked a Deluxe King Suite for just one nite. This is truly 'no frills' accomodations. Front desk staff was great. The room was outdated; worn out by todays standards, and had a musty smell. If you need space, this is not for you. With the king bed, I couldn't get out on the one side; just 4 inches of space between the bed and AC unit. The Mrs didn't appreciate being jostled when I need to get up during the nite. Nor did I enjoy having to climb around to get out of bed. WiFi / internet, free everywhere else I've stayed for the past several years, carries a $* one time fee. We picked this place because it's right off the freeway and we were finishing a 9 hour drive. We expected a more comfortable bed in a 'deluxe suite'. What we got was a $* cramped room for $* + taxes/fes. WHen we stepped off the elevator on the 2nd floor (6 PM), there were two huge bags of trash on the floor outside a storage room in the main hallway. When we left the next morning, they were still there. So if you're looking for comfort, this isn't the place. If you have a bus load of kids and need the full, though under equiped kitchen to save on the food bill and don't mind being crowded in, this is the place for you.
Everyone at this hotel was very nice and thoughtful. when we first checked in, the woman at the desk could tell i had laryngitis and they brought me a cup of hot water and tea bags.
