Anything after $
EVERTHING. The place totally sucked. Old, run down in need of a total renovation. It was not clean and did not have a working ice machine. One of the worst motels I've ever stayed in.
I liked the price and the location.
Dirty sheets, the room looked like it had not been cleaned since 1928 given the amount of dust in the alarm clock and TV set and the dandruff particles in the sheets. As for the looka of the room, i got exactly what i was expecting for what i paid for except for the cleaning part.
good value for money
The TV had worked & had many channels.
They had no record of the reservation I made through Kayak & waited 30 minutes before the manager gave me my room key. I assume the manager & Kayak got it worked out later.
Low price, fireplace in the room, lovely exterior.
Bad smell, small rooms, outdated door key technology, other guests were...shady.
The outside of motel was nice with flower boxes and it was inexpensive.
I touched the dresser and the front panel fell off, the fireplace did not work, our towels were not clean. The neighborhood did not feel safe.
The price, location, the staff, and the room
The cost was completely reasonable, and the room was acceptable. It could have been cleaner, but also was acceptable. A little bit rundown -- holes in carpet, shabby furniture.
That it was not as clean as I would have liked.
For $40, there's not much I can complain about. As long as I had a warm bed, hot water, and electricity that's all I felt like I needed for what I paid. I got a clean room with a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Pluses included a working fireplace(!), cable TV, and some muffins for breakfast.
The walls were very thin so I could hear the entire conversation of the people next to me, but again, for $40, I didn't expect much.
Absolutely nothing, except the fact that we got to leave as soon as we woke up the next morning.
Where to begin? Let me count thy ways. Seriously? This is a motel? No: it's a place for a bum to be with his sandwich or 1/2 full bottle of peach Shnopps he found on the beach after he hit the crack pipe. Really guys, can you even call this a motel? The holes and stains in the towels were so lovely. They reminded me of all of the users that came before me, blowing their noses and so forth. Yummy! Come stay in this hotel for Halloween, in order to be so scared for your life that you lose it all over the bed, as our previous renters obviously had!
I enjoyed the service of the staff they were very nice ,friendly and helpful.
there continental breakfast was not enough . they should of had a varity of pastries, milk, juice, toast, and hard boil eggs. i also believe that advance reservatons should be able to stay in the roon that customer request at time of check-in
place is close to Big Sur, staff was friendly and helpful, free wifi was provided. if you look for a basic place to sleep and hit the round in the morning, thats your place.
its a bit scary to wonder around after sunset. although motel rooms include complimentary breakfast, the meal itself included a quarter or muffin and a cup of coffee.
Far away from center of town and attractions. Lausi breakfast. Facilitities under niveau.
Room was spacious
Kind of old, can use renovations
The room was clean, but the location of the hotel didn't seem to be in a very good part of town. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. Since there was no air conditioning you had to open the window and I didn't sleep well. The guy next door kept coming outside to smoke and all of it came into our room. I realize that was not the hotel's fault that the guy smoked but there was no other way to get any air into the room, which is the inconvenience of the hotel. We booked this hotel for September as well and are cancelling the reservations. I believe that when I booked this room through your service I was allowed to cancel 72 hours before arrival without paying a fee. In looking at the reservations for September I booked through the hotel and they are going to charge me $20 + tax to cancel the reservations per room. What a ripoff. I am glad that we stayed there this time to have the experience before arriving and finding out we would be stuck for two nights. Never again. We are not picky people but expect to feel safe when we are traveling. The walls of this hotel are paper thin and we could clearly hear everything our neighbors were saying and all the noise from them moving about their room.
