There were no positive qualities about this hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room appeared to have been lived in. The bed had a stained mattress, a stained bedspread, hair in the sheets, dirty pillow cases, and was without fitted sheets or a bedskirt. Also, the lotion was rotted. The day before leaving for our destination, we discovered that the hotel charged us over three hundred dollars over the expected amount. When we arrived, we realized we were charged with another guest's bill. This should have been the red flag signaling to take our business elsewhere. We arrived to a room that appeared to be a lived-in single room apartment. There was a full kitchen, a futon, and a slept in full sized bed. The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room appeared to have been stayed in just moments before. Nothing had been washed. The bed had a stained mattress, a stained bedspread, hair in the sheets, dirty pillow cases, and was...

The location was the best thing about the hotel. There were a lot of restaurants near by. Walking distance to groceries, metro, shops and other tourist attractions:)If you do not need hotel service and want independence this is more like an apartment rental stay. To get a hold of a staff member, you have to call a number because the front desk was empty most of the time. The house keeper did a good job in replacing towels, tidying up and making the bed. The place would be even better if renovations were completed with a good deep cleaning. The air conditioner was pretty simple to operate. The kitchen was convenient to use. I liked the location because it was walking distance to the main attractions in Old Montreal. I had a really fun time!
I really liked the full size kitchen. We could go to the grocery store and bought food to cook instead of eating out for every meal.
While there was a kitchen with all the appliances needed, there wasn't a kitchen table to eat at so we had to eat in the living room.I liked it. It is a bit hard to find as we walked right past the entry. They are doing some renovations at the moment so the stairwell wasn't in the best of shape. The 1 bedroom suite was quite nice with very nice hardwood floors throughout. Loved having the kitchen to prepare our own meals in and not having to wash the dishes because it came with a dishwasher! Just a couple items to mention... the pillows weren't conducive to a good night's sleep (unless you like really thin, light pillows) We used the blankets in the closet to add some depth and stability under the pillows so we could sleep better the second night. Also, there wasn't a staff member on site at all times. He arrived...
