room nr 3 own kitchen and ensiute bathroom
Nothing much I like about this place.
Our room was not ready when we arrived. The door had no handle, bathroom had no curtain so that outsider can see through when you are taking shower. All the defects were solved temporarily. It was very noisy and dusty as they are still renovating some of the rooms opposite ours. Guests fighting in the middle of the night, causing us difficult to sleep. The water pressure in the shower was very low, after we complaint, then they fix it. No shower curtain, so all bathroom floor was wet after you took a shower. Location is far away from downtown, so not recommended with big luggages.
It has just been renovated. Reasonable size rooms and clean. Shower/toilet is shared between approx. 3 rooms which is not bad, always clean. Good amount of free parking. Walking distance (1 minute) to bus stop which connects to all trains and city central. Friendly and helpful staff.
Walls are way too thin, heard one guy next room snoring and in the other room the guy had the TV up loud most of the night - take earplugs. To get into city central you need to catch a bus and train takes about 1/2 - 3/4 hours if all connect.
The beds were comfortable and the roooms were clean.
there was nobody at the reception in the morning when we wanted to check out. Had to wait for half an hour and disturb sleeping people
The staff was very friendly and my bed was amazing! It felt great to lay on after a long day out and about!
The staff left a phone by the desk and said they were available 24/7 at the provided phone number. However, I tried to call to see if they had a bandaid and I got no response. When I wanted to check out, I again had trouble locating someone- eventually a staff member walking around saw me and got someone to help. The location is certainly not in an ideal location, but I felt that for the price of the hostel it was worth spending the money on a taxi ride into the city.
