The numerous pools that were inside since it was cool outside and we have two small children.
Yes. I woke up and found the carpet saturated. I was told by staff that a pipe had busted early in the morning. It was an inconvenience, especially with the kids. The staff didn't even offer to compensate for the inconvenience.
Location, View, Pool areaThe room had a great view and the hotel itself is in a great location. The rooms could be updated a bit. The bowling alley floors are very slippery so it's a bit of a hazard. They have security on site but I only saw him twice and neither was in the pool area which would have been great considering there was a couple making out in the hot tub. Upon check-in I was asked for a bank card they could keep on file. What they didn't tell me is that I would be charged a destination fee after my departure. I would recommend it to friends, but I would not recommend giving the hotel a payment method for them to take money has they please.
location and ammenities
was run down and pretty grungy
The staff were nice. The outside pool areas were pretty good. This would be a great resort if you're bringing kids along. The beach front was nice and large.
It was a little further away from the 'happening' part of town than I would've liked. The indoor pool area is outdated. This hotel could use a little sprucing up.We stayed for 3 nights total. It seems that the price is almost too good, which brings in some trashy people (not trying to be mean, just being honest). We are definitely going to stay more north next time as there just wasn't anything to do close. If you plan to drink alcohol, start saving a year before you leave. You're not going to get a drink on the resort for less than $7.50. The taxes are SUPER high in Myrtle Beach, and I mean on EVERYTHING. There is an 11.5% tax at all restaurants, but they were a good experience. One good thing though, the gas was less than $3 a gallon in the area. If I were you, I'd spend a tid more and stay...
The amenities and the staff were awesome.
On our first full day our keys were 'accidentally deactivated'Recommend for anyone from families with kids to the more experienced couples looking for a retreat.
The suite had a wonderful view.
The balcony was extremely small for an oceanfront suite, two people could definitely not fit comfortably. The pool gate bangs loudly nonstop and the pool cleaning crew is very loud starting at 7a.m.We made the best of this trip, but we will not be returning to this hotel in the future.
nothing! we checked out early!
there is nothing nice i can say about this hotelAWFUL!!!!!!!!!
Nice rooms, great view of ocean, pool, etc....overall stay was great until the day before checkout.....our room was never cleaned even after multiple calls.
Not getting our room cleaned as stated above.Read above statement
The staff at the hotel were very helpful when we checked in. Whenever we needed anything they were always very quick to deliver.
The elevators were a little bit small but that played no part in the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel was very nice. Out room had a great view and they even had a free Hula dancing and fire dancing show Saturday evening, that was free. It was very easy to get in and out with parking and there were ample pools for swimming in!
