The BEST WESTERN Hotel Paradiso is located in one of the most enchanting areas of Naples, the charming hill of Posillipo overlooking the magnificent gulf, the Vesuvio and islands. The hotel is well positioned, just a few minutes from Mergellina Harbour, where you can take the hydrofoil to Ischia, Procida, Capri. Elegantly furnished rooms, most of them with balcony and view over the gulf. At the nice terrace restaurant Paradisoblanco on the top floor, with panoramic view, you can taste the savory local cuisine. Possibility of accommodation in room only (breakfast excluded). 10% national VAT included. Local city fee is 3 EUR per night per adult over 18 years old. The additional fee is excluded and it will be paid directly at the hotel.
Magnificent view of Naples.
The location is spectacular, over the the edge of the Mediterranean and the restaurant has a great view over the beach
The staff were not very helpful or welcoming.
Location overlooking bay of Naples
Our room faced away from the Bay, when enquired about a room change it would have more than doubled the price
View from breakfast room was stunning. Rooms comfortable. Parking very expensive, but safe. The latter a plus in Italy.
Bit far from city centre and difficult to reach without car. You have to use cable car, walk, take a very dirty metro train and walk for miles to basically see a very noisy city. Hotel Restaurant very expensive. No other eathing places nearby.
Good hotel with pleasant staff and a great view
The menu was limited and difficult to understand.
The room was nice and the views spectacular
Lobby room. Terrace restaurant. Good breakfast.
Very bad connections of public transport to the hotel. No connection to the beach. No swimming pool (necessary during the summer months!).
I booked a smoking room with a view. I got a non-smoking room with a view of a brick wall. When we requested to change we got another non-smoking room with a view but had to pay extra for it. We tried to book a balcony table on the roof top terrace for dinner and we were told there was no need to book. When we went to dinner we were not allowed to sit on the terrace as there was a private function happening and instead were lead into a small dull room at the back of the terrace and finally I have to say the meal we received was appauling, the worst meal we had for the entire trip. I would have liked to have been told about the additional costs for rooms with views at the time of booking and also we should have been told about the function as we would have gone else where. The only part of the stay I enjoyed was leaving. I would not recommend this hotel.
The staff were very helpful and professional and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very comfortable and the view of the Amalfi coast from the hotel was just spectacular. Cannot recommend enough
