Le Lepre Felice is probably one of the better places to stay in Naples at this price point. The rooms are clean and staff are very friendly, but there are a few things you should be aware of ahead of your stay: If you are considering booking the king suite with spa bath, you should know that the room is directly off from the reception area, sectioned off by a thin door. You can hear everything at reception and they will likely hear everything in your room. We were woken up multiple times when people were checking in early or late. It was not a relaxing experience and the room did not feel very private with people frequently standing and talking directly outside. Also in the same suite, the traffic noise outside is very loud and you will definitely need earplugs. You will not be able to keep the windows open when you’re trying to sleep. I’ve seen comments from the owners responding to other guests’ complaints saying “well it’s never going to be as quiet as the countryside” but we’ve stayed in a lot of cities and have never experienced noise like this. The windows seem new but they leak so much noise. This combined with the noise on the other side of the room coming from reception was not very pleasant. Another thing to know is that very few staff members at Le Lepre Felice can speak English and we were only able to communicate through Google translate. This was a little awkward but not a major issue for us. I probably would have raised the noise issue a bit more if explaining it hadn’t been such a challenge. Despite the noise issues, Le Lepre Felice was a comfortable place to stay. If you’re not bothered by excessive noise and the language barrier isn’t an issue for you, you’ll find it a very safe and friendly place to stay. We’re grateful to the owners for their hospitality and wish the team the very best.
